I'm trying to update via the usb extension cable but my stick isn't being detected. Then I wondered if the bluetooth dongle was working, I can't see any evidence of this, nothing in settings and my mobile isn't finding anything when searching for bluetooth devices. Is there anywhere in the settings where I should be able to see the dongle? I've also read to try a different usb socket on the pc but there aren't any free ones that I can see. I'm more than likely going to have to get a different stick but just wanted to eliminate the extension cable first.

I just updated after pushing the usb extension into the pc properly, now my phone screen is completely blank. I've rebooted 3 times and its still dead.

I've updated again, still no phone screen. Checked connection to screen/pc both ends, rebooted multiple times, still no phone screen. I'm on the verge of going back to 1.13.

Anyone else have a failed smartphone screen? there's 2 of us now in the UK who's smarphones are blank after updating. I thought it was just coincidence when it failed after updating but it's happened to someone else now...

No one else? I guess we just have 2 hardware failures then.

Check your usb extension cable isn't half hanging out of the bottom of the computer in the backbox, mine was and another UK owner who received his machine at the same time. Someone was a bit keen when tidying the cables with cable ties.
