Yes, it is a long way off but Blizzard has officially revealed Diablo IV.

I love Diablo. Nothing like hoping on and killing a bunch of baddies with blood, bones, and guts flying everywhere.

Happy Slashing! (not anytime soon though )

Well even when they do release it, it probably isn't going to be the best for like a year or two if past history is any indication. I'll look forward to it, but since 3 was only 'meh' I probably won't get that excited about it.

I would be excited if Diablo 3 wasn’t so bad. I’ve lost faith in the dark lord.

I had fun with D3. Yeah, it had it's issues but I still had hours and hours of fun for $60.

    The trailer looks fantastic.

Heck, after watching the trailer I started a new seasonal character last night on D3. Not going to power level. Just play it through as I have not played in a solid year or more. Had a lot of fun doing that last night.

While I like the Diablo series as well, I REALLY wish they'd come back and wrap up the Half Life series.

Sounds like they're taking similar feedback into account and going back to a more customizable skill system for D4.

Went back to D2 at least 6 times. Gave up on D3 some months after it came out and never went back, but the auction house paid for both copies I got and the computer I built for my GF at the time, and then some... for the short while it lasted, I was getting about $100-$300+ per day from the auction house with little effort (buying for game gold and flipping). Was also possible to multiply sale space by selling on the foreign auction houses.

However, I agree with many that the auction house is part of what made D3 terrible.

Hopefully there's no auction house in D4 and trading goes back to something closer to D2. Also hopefully with better control against hacking.
