    Is there something I can pick up at my local radio shack or Home Depot that I can use in place of a fuse to test a gi strand that keeps blowing that associated fuse?

    Sounds like a shorted socket or a bad bulb. Have you changed any of them or did any work under the hood?? The rat shack thing I don't think so.

    People have used a household circuit breaker modified to hook into the fuse holder. That way when it "blows" all you have to do is reset the breaker. I would love to have one but have no clue how to make one. Maybe someone who does will chime in.
