Great interview, Ted! I had no idea you were involved in 'Deadly Spawn'. I saw that movie when I was a kid. I remember the fabric tearing sounds when people were getting ripped apart. Classic!

Quoted from spfxted:Honch, call me for update stuff
I'll give you a buzz this weekend if you're available. Possible Silver lining to this story??
Quoted from spfxted:I wouldn't ever count Elvira out...
Thanks for the kind words, guys!
I'm still holding out a little hope.
Quoted from spfxted:DENNIS: One of our buyers of the Whoa Nellie game wants another custom game, so I'm working on that for him. " I'm working with Gerry Stellenberg from Multimorphic and his P3 platform. It contains a huge , interactive LCD in the center of the p/f. I've created an original theme that I'm very excited about. It's a humorous sci-fi theme that features, of course, a hot space babe and a couple of her crazy companions. And, for the first time in pinball, the art is all original 3-D art. The artist we have is very talented and his work is fantastic. That's all I can say now, everything will be revealed at the TPF in March."
That's cool!
Quoted from spfxted:Working on getting the next interview for Pinball411.com !
...and here!
Fantastic work your doing Ted. Great interview of a great guy. Loved every bit of it.
Jersey power!

With Pinball Magazine No. 2 focussing on the entire career of Dennis Nordman I figured I'd give this post a bump. The interview in Pinball Magazine is actually a double interview as Greg Freres chimes in on the games he and Dennis did together. Then there's the contributions by others (Steve Ritchie, John Popadiuk, Chris Granner, Doug Watson, Pat McMahon, Roger Sharpe, Gerry Stellenberg and others) about working with Dennis and/or Greg. The entire coverstory runs from page 11 to page 127 and has 18 chapters.
The first chapter, in which Dennis talks about the early days and how he became a pinball designer, up to being hired to design Special Force, is available for FREE on the Pinball Magazine website:
Part 1: http://www.pinball-magazine.com/?p=1181
Part 2: http://www.pinball-magazine.com/?p=1261
Part 3: http://www.pinball-magazine.com/?p=1195
Enjoy!
