Demoman Searching For Flips

Letter received on Monday June 21st 2021.

Dear Lloyd-

As things here slowly go back to normal, I had a couple of friends over to play pinball. When playing my Demolition Man, I always use the handles. One friend used the flipper buttons. We noticed that the flipper buttons were much weaker and less responsive than the triggers on the handles. What would cause this and is there a fix?

Sincerely,

Forever searching for Simon Phoenix

Dear Searching

They are two different switches. Flipper button opto switches, And a mechanical switches on the handles.

You can clean the optos on the flipper button opto boards. That will help. Otherwise being both ways are different, that is as good as they'll get.

I hope you find Simon,

LTG : )
