Awesome metal work by hand! Well done
Quoted from GreenMachine19:Made my own stainless steel ramp flaps. Tired of rusty flaps.

Where do you buy your metal? What thickness?
Quoted from dudah:Laser cut and painted this today for a buddy, thoughts?
It's not bad for a do it yourself job, but it doesn't look original. I have a brand new repro if your friend is interested.

I don't know whether any rom burning places will do it, I just burn my own. If someone wants to mail me a blank rom and a return shipping sticker I can burn you one
I would like to take you up on this offer, however I don't know much about these blank roms. I did some quick searches and it seems like you need specific rom chips. Can someone please point me in the right direction in purchasing some blank roms? Thanks!

Marco is usually a good source for blank EPROMs. For WPC the EPROM type just depends on the size of the ROM image you want to burn: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/wpc-eprom-rom-file-sizes#post-4682476
Quoted from Antennaejim:Anybody know where I can get the left handle inside metal flat spring? Part number A-18001-2
I just replaced my trigger buttons with the new red aluminum ones on here and found that I’m missing the spring. I love the new trigger buttons! Thanks in advance!
Hi, can you point me in the direction to get the aluminium triggers?
Quoted from Rascal_H:Demolition Man is probably the favorite in my collection right now. I've had it a little over a year and play it pretty much every day.
DM has great flow, great multiballs, and a freakin' claw! Probably one of the best bang-for-your-buck pins available!
So represent DemoMan owners! Join the club!

Just picked one up, I’m trying to collect the entire ‘Superpin’ collection.. I’ve got new art coming, will be talking to Cosmo about a new cab soon, gonna chrome plate the habitrails and powdercoat the trim and guns.
Question is: alternate translite? What color for guns, legs and rails?
Quoted from allsportdvd:I just saw another DM and realised I don’t have this plastic. Does anyone have a spare, new or used?
[quoted image]
I just installed new plastic so I should have a spare. I'm not sure of the condition though. Do you still need the promo as well?

My flipper guides were pretty beat up, and cliffy didn't have them, so I scanned them in and worked it out with him. Enhanced Demo Man flipper guides are now available, if anyone else needs some. Installed mine last night and they work great.

I could use them. Do you have extra?

This is what my spare looks like. I didn't try cleaning the underside as I am not very successful with that. It's not great, but it's free. Though being in Australia, you are looking at $9.08 in shipping.

Lordy those look amazing. Mike did the best work RIP.
Where did you get those buttons and triggers?
I have several sets of triggers I’d be willing to part with PM me. The buttons from eBay. Credit to the pinsider in this thread that gave a little tutorial works great.

That’s hot and I am jealous.
Hello all. I recently picked up a demoman with all the fixings to make beautiful again. Pin has very nice playfield, plays just about perfect. Came with new set of decals for head and cab. New plastic set, new titan rubber set, new post set. Whats is worth when its complete or if I decided not to restore, whats it worth as is?. Thanks for the input

Whatever someone will pay for it.
Quoted from Ozzy:Thanks for the wonderful insight
Pinside shows average price range for the title if you click on it. Tough for anyone to guess how the game looks to give a price estimate. Maybe $2500 to $3200. A lot less if its beat, more if its super nice. Post pics and you'll get real answers
It’s probably not a game that will justify the effort as most people go for DemoMan because it’s cheap. But, guys are always looking for PARTS for cheap games so it might be worth more separate. However, if you want to do the work because you enjoy it, and the base game price isn’t too high, you can probably at least come out whole.
Quoted from zacaj:There isn't an opto for the eyeball I don't think just the target at the back
I guess not for the eyeball but right next to it for the car. Just wondering has anyone added a GI socket and bulb here. There is just a hole here with nothing in it.
Quoted from zacaj:I just welded mine back together
I was just about to suggest the same thing. It's an easy repair for someone good at TIG welding.
I brought mine to work and had the welders do it. It’s a delicate weld because it’s so thin they could blow a hole in it if it’s not set right. My friend from work played with temperatures on scrap before attempting on the real deal.

I thought about doing some kind of LED strip. there, but got really behind on my tear down (was trying to finish for a party) and had to rush it back together).
I have a welder in my garage but I’m out of gas and have never welded anything this thin. There’s a metal fab shop downtown I can talk to.
I Am getting a James Cardona chip, ramps chromed, got new cars coming, new cab and head decals arrived. I wanted a project, doesn’t get any better than this one. At least the pf is clean.

I have done GI socket and bulb to that hole. Twin bendie to light eye-lane with pink, highlights red veins, and ice blue to car-tunnel. Looks and works nicely.

Nice, I picked up a similar kind of project a couple of months ago. My buddy had it in his basement sans a glass while he did renovations. I must have vacuumed 15 gallons of drywall dust from it.
So far: New lock down bar, glass, NOS plastics, cars, titans, comets...It was also missing some ribbon cables and boards. Once I financially recover from getting it up and running I plan on sending the handles out and maybe doing new cabinet decals. I love bringing these things back from the dead.
I just grabbed a four pack of the blue LED halo buttons. They were $20 shipped for the four. If anyone wants to buy the other pair, I'd sell them for the $10 and like $2 shipping and supplies.

Quoted from underlord:Started tearing into my DM tonight. Destroyed metal subway ramp. A-17620 part number. Anyone making these?
Interesting use of metal repair tape though...
I literally just wrapped it in duct tape 6 years ago. Never had a problem with it since.
Of course, if I actually went to sell it to somebody, I suppose I'll have to have it welded. But seriously, the duct tape holds perfectly and nobody sees it but me so... *shrug*.
Regarding the metal subway, has anyone reached out to Kerry at Mantis? I don't have mine, but I'm sure if you reached out and sent it out he'd consider it. Seems like most every machine has this issue.

I reached out and Kerry said this:

Probably pretty easy to make . . . but I would need an intact

Hopefully someone can send him one. His email is on his website: [email protected]

Mine is in tact, but repaired. I would be happy to send him it. Easy enough to see how it goes.
Looking to join this awesome club. PM me if you’re considering selling yours. I’m located in Santa Clarita California. Thanks!

No judgement here. I just picked up a spool of flux core welding wire for my mig. Gonna practice on scrap and see how it goes. Repairing this type of separation should be a cake walk.
