I’m no expert, but I ran into a problem with another pin I bought recently where someone had replaced a fuse with one that had higher amps than recommended. I think it contributed to a transistor and or coil burn out on my pin as well. I would air on the side of caution and go with the lower amp if that’s what the manual recommends.
