Hello all

Just thought I'd share my current project and show you my project. Got a DEMO MAN and have stripped it down so can clean. Very dirty as you can seefrom the one picture. Spent about 10 hours total so far stripping most everything off the field, and polishing and buffing all plastics and metal. Here are some pictures of the dirty playfield long with before and after shots of the ramps. I will be adding to this post as project continues. Please let me know your thougths.

How much did you pick it up for?

$750

Damn that's cheap. Very nice. She's gonna look real nice when it's shopped. DM is a great bang for the buck.

Agree DM is a great bang for buck pin and think one of the only games that can pull off LED nicely if done tastefully. Congrats on the pickup Xanathar and can't wait to see how it looks once you are done with it.

Thanks. I'm gonna be trying the new LEDs from Pinball Life

Here is another update to my project. As you can see from the pictures. The playfield is now clean. I cleaned with Simple Green first. Then I used the Treasure Cove 3 step kit to give it a nice polish. Finally I use a Carnuba/Polymer wax to give it the final shine. I think it turned out well.

I have also replace all the GI with the new Pinbal Life 4-led SMD bulbs. I like these things alot. They sit flush with the playfield and give out just as much light as CT super brights.

I am working on the last part of it which is re-assembly right now. Its definatly a pain remembering how to put this back together even with picture.

I will keep this updated as I make progress. Please let me know your opinions.

Thanks

Looking good. Nice find 750 is a steal.

Enjoy your new game. It has alot going for it I just hate the handles personally otherwise really like this title.

Doing the exact same teardown right now! What did you use on the ramps to clean them up? I'm concerned about the clear plastic.

Mine were nasty. Novus 2 initial application then wipe down.

Then a nice healthy spray of Novus 1 and wipe down with microfiber cloth. They came out pretty clear as you can see in one of the pictures
