Demolition Man broken wire question

This wire got caught and broke. The two wires go into the same connector as shown. Can i just wire them together or do i have to pull out the connector and completely redo? Machine is super flaky.

They same. If you can pull then then completely redo.
If not please wire together. Don't forget insulate!
(Gray-yell: +12V unregulated)

So i can take the broken wire attach it to the exposed attached wire and solder? This wire wouldnt cause the pin to act funny would it?

You can hack it together with electrical tape and some solder.
Me, I'd buy come crimp contacts from Great Plains Electronics and reinsert into the connector, factory fresh.

It would not cause any issues but the exposed section of the wire looks like it was broken most of the way through. You would be better off removing the pin and fixing it correctly.
