I finished shopping my new demo man:
- replaced the trough board set with new GLM
- stripped & cleaned everything from the top and most of the bottom of the pf
- replaced all kicker arms and the brackets that attach to the bottom of the pf (they were worn through causing the other side to hit the bottom of the pf)
- welds were broken on the center ramp and back popped - fixed with jb weld
- replaced some rusted lamp sockets
- flippers had new plunger and links - but needed new coil stops and sleeves
- polished and waxed pf and plastics, cleaned the metal ramps and guide rails with bartenders friend and wax
- cliffy's on the in-lanes
- new rubber, balls (and eyeball), and posts, and some other stuff I can't remember

When I was almost done with re-assembly I broke a screw attaching a ramp in a post. I didn't have a backup post so I grinded it down, and swaped out another on that didn't need a screw on top. Really frustrating to be almost done and have another problem!

Some before and after pics below. I took alot of pictures - if anyone needs one from the top or bottom of the pf let me know. Also put in coin takers frosted led's in the backbox, inserts, and GI. The color changers in the multiball inserts are from pinball life. Video of a quick pf tour here

The game is a real PITA to shop! But it tured out looking good and now plays real nice. The only bad spot on the pf is behind the center ramp -it's real chewed up. Put a peice of mylar to cover it up. There was old mylar on a few other spots - didn't take it off, maybe next time....

I used a tumbler for the first time too - learned the hard way to never put in philips head screws!

Thanks everyone!

Although at times it was a pain with all those ramps, it's always fun to work on a game. And I learned some new tricks in the process.

Quoted from Staythirsty:

Love it, I need another pin to work on, getting bored.

LOL. Yea, I'll see how long before I get bored now too!
