Sometimes I can play 10-15 games with no issue. When I first turn the game on, its almost always fine.
But a few games in, I will shoot the ball up to the claw and one of these things might happen
-Music starts but claw never goes to get it
-music starts, claw goes to get it, picks it up and holds ball but will not move
If I turn the game off for 5-10 minutes, nothing really changes. If I turn it off for a few hours, it boots up fine, gets the ball , sends it down the acmag hole and its pinball as usual.
One time when it was stuck,(It went to get the ball, held it for a while... I turned it off and back on and the claw did not move in the boot-up check) I ran the diagnostic and it said "claw out of range" I haven't duplicated that again...yet, but I am hoping some if not all of this information is helpful.
The elevator works fine and the claw functions properly most of the time. It tends to only break when I have company or my wife REALLY wants to play it. (basically the times it matters) The only way I can seem to fix it is to turn it off for hours! Tens of minutes don't seem to work.
Any ideas??? Thanks in advance!
