Good afternoon Pinsiders,
I'm working on my Demolition Man, and I notice that the "Right Ramp Upper" flasher was stuck on (it has been since I bought the game, and I just pulled the bulb, but now I'd like to fix it). This board originally had a hack that I'm trying to undo. I replaced the TIP102 at Q12, but no luck. The bulb still stays on. The ribbon cable is oriented properly on both ends as well.
The previous owner/operator jumpered the collector (middle pin) of Q12 to PW3.
I compared it to the aux driver board in my TZ, and I noticed a difference in how components PW1/PW3 are soldered.
On TZ, they are soldered to pads SW2 and SW4 respectively, but on demo man they're soldered to the pads just below (see picture). If you have a DM, can you tell me if this is the original configuration for your Aux-8 board? I checked the schematics in both game manuals and they're the same.
Many thanks!
Jimmy
