Anyone ever tried the white Delrin balls as their pinball?

I know these are 3/4" - that's the size for my Hyperball which I'm debating using them in. The white would give a nice, stark contrast to the black and red playfield.
Just wondering if anyone has every tried them as a pinball mod. I suspect they would withstand the pounding but worried they may scratch the playfield.
