    Item description

This is the Next Pick-Up & Delivery route planned:

(pending clear winter weather & safe roads)

Are you: buying/selling Pinball Machines, Arcade Games, jukeboxes, monitors, slot machines, antiques, signs, boxes of parts or other similar sized items & need them picked-up/delivered near this route:
    1. start = Texas (austin, houston, dallas/ft-worth area, etc...)
    2. AR, TX, OK, Kansas City MO, Iowa,
    3. Chicago IL, Milwaukee WI, IN, OH, PA, MD,
    4. KY, TN, Atlanta GA, AL, MI, LA,
    5. end = Texas (dallas/ft-worth area, Houston area, Austin, etc...)
    (will post a map-image later)

Planned Start Date = Mon, Nov 26. Will probably run 2 weeks +/- a few days.
I can extend the route/states depending on # of machines from different folks.
I've packed/shipped 100's myself & know how to take care of them through the process. Have multiple game delivery routes across USA.

Pricing will vary on your actual item(s) & proximity to route. Cost of diesel fuel has increased monthly over last year. (Oct 2017 = 2.79, Oct 2018 = 3.37).

Expect some delays with snowed-in or iced-over roads.
PM me with any interest/questions/etc... still have room on truck.
Will need to know pick-up city/state, destination city/state & specific item(s). Can do bulk quantities as well.

Have item available on ground level (by front door or in garage with least steps).
If you haven't, I box, blanket & wrap prior to safely strapping inside enclosed truck.
Hot cocoa always welcomed for Santa's helper.

ps. you can track my sleigh progress in real-time on the route with the map system I've built.

pss. next route after this 1 will probably be from TX > Cali > (maybe Seattle) > Cali > Texas > ...

    Happy Holidays

A couple shots from the shipment he helped me with early summer.

Those disposable hand warmer things are amazing. Stock up on a box of those. Get some smart wool socks too if you really want to be prepped.

Gloves, Insulated jacket, insulated bib overalls. Hat with ear covering. Insulated is the key word. See Carhart or Duluth Trading Co.

Insulated boots or at least work shoes. Sears has a great deal on Die Hard insulated work shoes and boots today & Tomorrow. Get them before the company closes shop completely.

I’ve got a Star Trek pro for sale on this route! He’s already picking up one machine from me, would be real easy to load up two!

When I saw your trip plan, it reminded me of a large scale animal migration map with an odd clockwise path. Pins are on the move this season and this migration should finish before Xmas.

Curious how many total pins are planned for pickup during your two week trip and what is maximum load? I will guess 50 / 18.

    hi,

Waiting on results of truck i'm using to be "winterized". Supposed to be on Monday.
Checked weather through MO, IA, IL, WI and it looks like giant highway-stopping blizzards are about to hit with powerful winds too. Top of a truck blew off

    https://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/reports-powerful-winter-storm-slams-central-us-with-heavy-snow-destructive-winds/70006712

Blizzard conditions on I-35 and I-29 were making dangerous conditions for drivers north of Kansas City. Officials were urging residents in the area not to travel.

To be fair, that is a shitty Wabash Duraplate junk trailer. You don't see that happening with Great Dane, Stoughton or Utility trailers. You get what you pay for with van trailers.

Brett, sure hope you are delaying your next adventure?

    #22 5 years ago

Unless you're an over the road truck driver, best to wait until May, 2019.

    #23 5 years ago

Bummer you weren't in KC a day earlier. It was over 60 and sunny
