everyone should be required to transport a pin in their vehicle. it would give them a good reason to pay attention to the road.

Long ago. Don’t need to go there.

    Quoted from Darcy:

Scariest thing I've seen, a guy eating spaghetti on a plate, using both hands. While driving at over 60 MPH.

How about the clown I saw a few weeks ago who was texting while driving his Vespa 40mph?
Or the girl I saw a block away from a Taco Bell eating nachos with her left foot out the window ,over the rear view mirror. I can only imagine that she was hungry and also trying to air out her va-jj at the same time.
I try to think of it in a positive way. It won’t take long before these dopes are dead and removed from the gene pool unfortunately they will kill others along with themselves.

Many people I know are beyond addicted to their cell phones and social media drama in general. Its really sad. I just saw a woman with 2 kids in the back weaving in and out of traffic. We came to a stop at a light and she was on facebook.
If society had a prolonged nationwide power grid failure it would help reset things and cause people to focus on helping each other rather than trying to out do each other on instacrap etc.

It will only get worse with the cell phones as the kids now are handed a phone at such a young age, usually to just keep them occupied so the parents don't have watch them, even five years old is not uncommon now. Many times I see a family having dinner in a restaurant and the entire family is each playing on there own phones and none of them are interested in there own family, they never say a word to each other. They just get up after eating and leave, still on there phones......pathetic!! And people are bad enough drivers as it is without the cell phone in there hand..... Makes me glad to not own a cell phone, I don't need to be in touch with a bunch of strangers at any given moment of the day.

A few years ago, a local woman rammed into a stopped motorcycle, killing the driver. She was painting her nails. Her sentence was only 18 months in jail and 30 months probation. WTF!!

I'm just impressed she can get her legs that far apart.

Type a relevant story about how you saw some idiot out in public like it was special. It ain't. Idiots just breed more idiots.

Type a joke about SNL because you know deep down it's not bad these days, it's just not funny any more because you're old and you still think that Leno was the only thing funny on TV. Nah.

One real problem is that the criminal justice system is broken and out of money.
Most people care about it but would never pay for it with their own money.
The ones that are willing to pay for it have had some idiot kill, rape, or assault a close relative to family member. Those that care are a very small percentage of the population, along with employees of the prison systems and our public justice system.
And so we go on, with everyone not convicted of a violent act or sometimes even a sexual assault pretty much walking out on bond and eventually probation.

Do you realize what you have to actually to be convicted of these days in order to get more than two years in prison and actually serve the time?

You don't because no one in your family or a close friend has been affected. If you do realize, there's still nothing you can do about it.

Not going to change because it's a system that only filters public money to the private companies running the facilities and they can charge whatever they want for those services. They's like, "how much ya gots?." Now I ask, who are the REAL criminals?

Mixing public service and money in a blender never seem to turn out good. Never.
