I have a roadshow pinball which does not have a serial number on the back on on the inside.
The boards are not all matching, so I have no idea which is the correct one.

Can I deduct the serial number from the bootup number which is shown?

Possibly. THe thing you don't know, is whether or not the PIC or CPU board is original to the machine.

Is the serial # removed from the inside of the machine too? How about the playfield?

why would you want to do that?

Just checked the inside again, no serial anywhere (cabinet is refinished by previous owner).
On the playfield there are only mfr dates.

I want to know the serial number of my machines, for the insurance company.

How would I interpret the bootup number, since it obviously isn't a correct serial format?
