So I've been looking and maybe i've just been missing it. Usually on most machines both are not available. However I have an F-14 in horrendous condition... now the question is... what to use?

I understand what the process difference is and I know what a stencil is... I'm curious, what is the time/quality difference between the 2 (3 including next gen decals)? What are the repercussions and benefits of going either route?

So for example I have 3 options
Decals
Decals Next Gen
Stencil

Feel free to link me to a post or thread discussing this but I couldn't find anything that compared the 3.

Quoted from vid1900:

Stencil would be what the factory used, and it is more durable than the decal.

Okay so durability would go like so

Most

Stencil
Next Gen Decal
Original Decal

Least

Any differences in quality?

I understand Stencil will have some variance based on quality of paint used and person painting too.
