I was in the same boat that you are. I had no opinion for AC/DC, wasn't crazy about them, just another band I hear on the radio here and there. The local arcade has an LE and I put a few games on it, but didn't know the rules at all so it did nothing for me. Then I read up quickly on some rules and played a few more games. What a difference. Started to really enjoy the rush of having a huge jackpot, trying to get a multiplier going, and then firing the cannon. And shooting the cannon while multiball is going is always intense.
Anyways, I purchased one this past summer and AC/DC remains a pin that I throw games on on almost a daily basis. There's no real "modes" aside from trying to go for encore mode, but something about getting those high scores for different songs, total highs, and jackpot highs just keeps me coming back. I wish I knew Luci was coming out as I woulda rather purchased that art package, but I did get the Hellen translite and it's definitely a nice improvement for the eyes.
