I recently purchased a #star-wars-stern-le , and the top two green LEDs on the 9-LED Death Star are out (looks like they got bumped/smashed somehow - possibly by a rogue shot?) Anyway, the Stern manual calls the replacement Part # 511-9972-00 SUPERLASER ASSEMBLY, and from what I can tell, this part is unobtanium. However, Marco currently offers a replacement piece of the death star for the Pro that looks like it includes the LED assembly (part#511-1050-00). My question is: if I buy the Pro part, does the community here think the little 9-green LED board would fit/replace the board in my Premium? I've included a pic of the Pro part on Marco and the pic of the Premium part as described by the manual. Thanks in advance for weighing in.

I would think if you go through distributor you should be able to get part from Stern. They made these games not long ago.

Reading the part number off of that pic the pcb is part 520-7041-00. I would call stern or a distributor.

Those led look like they are through hole so you could probably replace the broken ones, or try reflowing the solder to see if a joint just got cracked.

I haven't had to go directly through Stern for anything yet, but I'll give that a try. I know a local distributor that may be able to hook me up. Thank you for the feedback!

Using the part number you provided actually took me to another Pinside thread (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/stern-star-wars-clubmay-the-force-be-with-you?tu=Hop721) on this - and repair was also suggested here. I purchased the LEDs recommended in that thread and am going to try repairing myself. Thanks again!

Stern won’t sell parts directly must use distributor.
