I’d still rather have Sabbath, but would also like megadeth. Be perfect next to my metallica megadeth w/ custom mustaine voicework would rock! No way in hell ozzy would ever do it... Jeesh, Dio custom work woulda got my d^*k hard.
I’m not the biggest Megadeth fan, but it would translate very well to pinball. Unique art and fast paced music.
I’m also a huge Pink Floyd fan, but I think that would make a terrible experience. It’s slow, ethereal, and a bit trippy... none of which translates to pinball.
I’m not sure how well a Beatles pin will do. I’m not a super fan, but it seems like their happy, pop infused early rock and roll tunes won’t translate into an adrenaline fueled pinball experience. I guess we’ll find out!
Ya know, I never gave it any thought, but I think a Megadeth pinball would be pretty cool. Black Sabbath would be great if it went beyond the Ozzy years. Ultimately, i'd like to see a Judas Priest pin.
Megadeth has a huge catalog of really good songs and great art/iconic imagery. I know that's pretty subjective but take a run down memory lane. As a pinball, it's the perfect storm.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm ready for a break from music themed games. We really need super hero themed pins, that is a an under-served market.

I respect your opinion, but feel the exact opposite. I’m so sick of superhero movies... the last thing I want is games from superhero movies in my house. If it’s not a good original theme, or something nostalgic, then for me it’s gotta be music based... and it’s gotta

I think you're missing some sarcasm.
Quoted from BillySastard:F#@k yeah! Vic Rattlehead deserves a pin more than Eddie.
I think the Backstreet Boys might be more deserving than Eddie.
I like Megadeth, but I don't see near the widespread appeal for it to be as successful as many other options. I'm still hoping for a Motorhead pin.
I asked Gary Stern after Maiden was official that I would love if they made a Megadeth (not sure if he knows who they are or not) , my favorite band of all time! Definitely would be my dream theme!! Ed Repka's art packages were awesome (the singles even more so than the LP covers). Zombie Yeti would do it right for sure.

With Metallica, AC/DC and now Maiden being some of Stern's most popular titles I don't see them stopping anytime soon.
Quoted from pascal-pinball:no no no !!!
Slayer first !!
Couldn't agree more. Saw them last night! Another awesome show
Let’s be honest with ourselves, a Megadeath pin would sell very poorly. There are 50 bands I could name that would sell better.
I seem to recall a recent release that was said to be a theme that would sell very poorly as well...
Dear Stern, please don't do another music pin ever again... Sorry Megadeth fans, but already have enough music pins...
I can't buy every pin that comes out so I could really care less what they do as far as what they produce. Both Megadeth and Slayer, that would be cool. Ther are plenty of pins out there that I think the theme sucks. You know what? I just don't buy them and wait for the next one
A Megadeth machine could be cool. I dig the early Megadeth the best. Mustaine/Poland/Ellefson/Samuelson lineup. Too many bands should come before Megadeth as far as a pinball goes. It would have to be a Peace Sells or Killing is my Business theme to get my attention and I know that ain't happening.
How about a Big Four theme? Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax and Slayer. Different modes for each band, could be cool, probably a licensing nightmare.
Quoted from BillySastard:F#@k yeah! Vic Rattlehead deserves a pin more than Eddie.
oh hell no. Eddie is waaaaaaaaaaaay more iconic.
Problem is, Dave Mustaine is now a born again Christian and doesn't perform his Satanic songs anymore.
Which means that all of Megadeth's best material wouldn't be in the game.

Religion...
Tommy Araya from Slayer is a Catholic
Quoted from Strummy:Tommy Araya from Slayer is a Catholic
Yeah, but Tommy doesn't mind doing the old stuff.
However Dave, by his own admission, used to worship the devil.

There's actually an older article about how he would talk to Hannerman about not wanting to sing some of that stuff. Obviously he got over it!

Not a fan, but I like most of the Megadeth songs i’ve heard over the years. I never associated any of their songs with satanism I guess.

Read the lyrics from most of the songs off the Peace Sells album, my favorite.
The movie, "The Conjuring" was based loosely on Megadeth's song, "The Conjuring."
Quoted from Magic_Mike:The movie, "The Conjuring" was based loosely on Megadeth's song, "The Conjuring."
The Conjuring movie was based off the actual Ed Warren taped recordings of Lorraine Perron, and the book written by one of the Perron daughters who lived in that house where the events took place.
The only issue with a Megadeth pin —
No way the backglass is wide enough to fit all the members who have been in the band! Theres been 100s of them!

Correct. I did say loosely.
The movie is based on paranormal activity and demon/devil spirit possession.
The song is based on the worshiping of demon/devil paranormal spirits.
The fact that that the movie was named after the song of the same premise is far more than a coincidence.
I hope Stern makes this and when you launch a ball the game goes black and the cabinet falls apart in true Dave and Stern fashion. LOL. Just joking of coarse. I would like to see this pin made and have a bunch of magnets to throw the ball around and fast ramps with killer spinners. Keeping a very high energy adrenaline rush kind of game if possible.
I'd be in. As a lifelong metal head, I don't think you can have a conversation about the greatest metal album of all time without involving Rust in Peace.
Quoted from PW79:You wont have to look far
They rush every game
HAHAHA....
SHOTS FIRED!
Bands that would make a better pin and likely sell better (imho): Beastie Boys, Queen, Skrillex/Knife-Party, Michael Jackson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, LED Zeppelin, Rush, Linkin Park.
Megadeth would be a great pin too, just like Maiden is. Awesome story based songs, incredible album art, etc. Not sure about the audience size but Maiden has shown that pinheads will buy a great game even if they don’t like the band, they’ll just b*tch a lot while their doing it!
Another one I’d love to see is Amon Amarth! Viking metal for the win!
