Looks like a diverter for the ball return. The top black part is rubber, the bottom is screw in or pressed in with a pin to hold the rubber.

The color difference between Lucky Ace and Dealer's choice is stark. My playfield is identical but a goldenrod yellow, not this vivid pink.
