Quoted from GravitaR:
Have to call an audible here, the lock shot is Avenger's Black Widow shot. Same spot on the playfield and everything. Could go even further back looking at Volcano for its inspiration. AMH? HAHA no way.
Would be funny if Deadpool made a reference to that ("Take that, Black Widow"). Might also make a LotR reference when a ball locks in the sword ("So much closer to Valinor")
Quoted from andrewket:
The lack of RGB LEDs is really surprising.
Is it really? A> This is Stern and B> The BoM already had to support a 15 cent disco ball and a $1 sub-FunkoPop deadpool character. What money was left for RGB leds and a controller?
But I'm sure it makes JJP, AP, Spooky, etc very happy that Stern does this when their pins are full RGB. Easy point of differentiation.
Quoted from Aurich:
Star Trek Premium turned out to be such a funny exception, maybe Ritchie gets more juice with his games. Full RGB LEDs on every damn insert and really nice pearl powder coat with lollipop rails. Now the prices have gone up and the Premiums tend to not have much RGB if any, and the standard black powdercoat with basic side rails.
I haven't bought a new Stern since my Star Trek Prem, so maybe I'm forgetting some other exceptions, but it's definitely the only one I can think of with all of that in one package. Am I missing anything?
GoT Prem has full RGB, but no powdercoated rails. It looked like the new standard until Stern backed off to just a smattering of RGB. Booo.
