Quoted from HoakyPoaky:

Per matrix: Left orbit shot feeds right flipper via up/down ramp on the Prem/LE.
I'd like a little more clarity on that, because it's hard to tell what this means from looking at playfield. I thought it meant that there is an obscured flap that drops down in the back LT corner to divert the ball from the left orbit to the sword & back to the right flipper. That gives you two ways to get to the sword on the Prem/LE, but now I'm not so sure.
Anyone know?

I think the drop ramp is on the right side of the game just to the right of the sword ramp. after the ball makes it around the orbit it goes up the drop ramp and onto the sword ramp.

Quoted from Kolchak357:

Says it will contain some sound effects celebrating 80’s pinball. That is a cool idea. Can't wait to hear that.

Maybe they pulled some of the sound effects from the "Supreme" pin? that seemed to have some pretty cool retro 80's sounds.

Of course having exceptional artwork helps a lot but overall as an overall package this pin looks like fun! It's been a while since we've had a licensed theme with humor and some originality due to the licensor giving Stern a lot of leeway in what they were allowed to do. I can't wait to play it!

Stern must be doing some things right if Deadpool ends up being the "worst" of their titles released in 2018.

Quoted from T-800:

So, am I understanding this correctly on the Pro model - all left orbit shots are going to be stopped by the gate and feed the pops? Only right orbit shots have a controlled gate to let it through from time to time? If so, WTF.

Yes. I think this is how it has to be since the left orbit shot can't be a clean shot all the way around since I don't think there is a rail on the right side due to the shooter lane not having a jump ramp. if you look at the whitewood you can see this better. i'm kind of curious on the Prem/LE how well the ball will actually "hug" the right side of the playfield and go up the small ramp without being assisted by a rail of some kind? Hopefully the geometry of both the right ramp and left orbit shot (that goes up the small ramp to the sword) work better in reality than what it looks like in pictures.

I thought the game looked like a lot of fun! The right ramp looked really smooth and fast and I liked all of the variation in the modes and display animations. Not sure yet if Lil Deadpool will get annoying over time and if the humor was what I was expecting (I was expecting more adult humor) but maybe that will come later as the game didn't have any instances of Deadpool breaking the 3rd wall yet.

One question on the layout. What does the shot to the right of the left ramp (to the left of the scoop) do? -is there a standup target at the end of the shot or does it exit somewhere? It didn't seem to get shot much during the part of the stream that I watched.

Quoted from calprog:

The stream was really cool! Nice to see the team that developed the game. The code is obviously early and they need an “R” rated option for sure. I look forward to playing the game.

Best bet is to send donations to Cleland and have him make an R rated version using the Ryan Reynolds clips from the movies. Cleland completely transformed the sound package for TWD and could do the same for Deadpool if he is willing. I don't think we'll see an R rated version from Stern.
