If you could only pick one, which one?

Vote for DP. Godzilla pro is a bit bare. Premium is good bit better stocked than the pro.
DP is fun and all, but seems really repetitive to me. Logically there are only 1 more each of tier 1 and 2 modes on GZ if I'm looking at it right, but I guess that is significant enough. DP also has some clunky shots, and honestly I dislike the Little DP drops/target area - I don't know if it's rules or what, but I'm never excited to shoot or do anything with those targets/area, which are pretty front and center.
GZ I've only played a handful of games on, but I thought it was clearly a better shooter. I just ordered a GZ Pro, I'm not sure I really ever care to own a DP. But I know DP is a favorite for many, so maybe I've just missed something and it didn't click for me. Different strokes, and all that...
Both should be on the poll. Have the DP already with a GZ on order.
I did not cast a vote as both is not currently an option, and you can’t go weren’t with either.

This is still one of my favorite things about pinball in general. One mans trash is another mans treasure. There are games that I think are complete puppy poop that other people adore.
It’s ok that DP didn’t click with you. I don’t think your missing anything, even though it’s currently my favorite game. I have fun and enjoy it every time I play it. It’s the whole package, the humor, art, rules, play. They all come together for me. If they don’t for you, that’s totally normal.
As for the OPs question…
This was the correct answer in my opinion.
Had Deadpool in my collection and played the hell out of it for two or three months straight and then had let it go: it became quite shallow.
So much more in zilla premium than pro whereas with deadpool the difference between prem/pro are negligible. Deadpool pro for sure.
I love deadpool, in fact I own DP pro. However, at current pricing, I would take Godzilla most likely.
I have both (LE versions). They are both excellent games but I think at the pro level DP is the better choice: Godzilla pro lacks any physical ball locks, and all the major mechs are limited to the prem/LE. DP seems like more of a complete game at the pro level.
I have both pros. It's very difficult to have a final verdict on gz yet. GZ is the new toy and gets all the attention but it's far from perfect. They both share a lot of similarities and even a bit of the feel is similar. Deadpool wins hands down when it comes to personality and fun factor. Gz wins on a deaper ruleset (not complete yet; code .80)
Its just too early for me to fully comment on GZ. It is fun and keeps you wanting to play one more. You can't go wrong with either.
Have a DP pro - It's fun and still having fun with it. Played GZ pro on location a bit and it's exciting too being new and all.
Have a GZ Prem on order. As someone mentioned there is just more in the GZ prem vs pro - but DP the pro is the way to go as prem just doesn't add much to the game.
If I could only have 1 - I'd go GZ pro. My reasoning is It's new and shiny, and have played DP for a while already. There is an awful lot of shots in GZ too and it may have more universal appeal to random friends and relatives who are not pinheads who come to play once in a while.
Sooooo - get a DP pro right now and play the heck out of it. AND get yourself on a GZ pro list. When the GZ comes in sell the DP...
Note - I'm just an average player.

Excuse me sir, could you define “Puppy Poop”?
I’m buying a GZ Pro knowing I could always trade for a DP Pro (maybe with a few mods already installed), down the road to someone that’s tired of their DP. Buy the shiny thing and you won’t have problems trading later… … unless the code sucks when it’s done. …or the Magna Grabber thing starts fires. Haha This is just my thoughts/rational though.
Played the pro yesterday and I loved it’s simplicities layout and shots. Lots to throw the ball at even without the toys. My wife and I are excited to have it in a few weeks!

I've yet to play Zilla Premium, but the pro is SO good, it's hard to imagine anything playing radically better. (tho my friend who has played the premium does prefer the premium.) Premium does have a lot of cool factor, tho.
DP was far better value for money when it released, tho. The current prices are obscene
Honestly, don't think you can go wrong with any of the 2. I would say grab the one that is available and in the condition you like.
I played both, have DP Pro on order sine July 2021 and got pushed back to July 2022. I was able to get my hands on a NiB GZ Pro and don't regret it at all. Stayed on the list for the DP Pro.
If you can only pick one, do a heads or tails and if you are happy with the winner that is the one, if not, then the winner is the other one! Lol

Only played the pro also, but I'm guessing thr lower right PF area is the big improvement. Seemed a little cheesy on the Pro
I have been playing Deadpool Pro on route for a few years. It is always one of my favorites, and I can’t hear a single Deadpool callout over the music playing at the barcade. I have managed to play Godzilla Pro about 12 time over two different trips, and…Right now I would still take Deadpool, but I had a lot of fun playing Godzilla to his second visit. Unfortunately, I think the flippers on this Godzilla are a touch weak, and I still really wish the upper right ramp was hittable from the third flipper. The weak flippers (in my opinion) seem to make the ball travel really slow on the Godzilla ramps which can be a snoozer compared to Deadpool’s ramps. Do I love Deadpool, yes. Would I buy a Godzilla Pro over a Deadpool Pro…not at this time, but Godzilla is a fun game with great flow. Deadpool is just little more fun right now (I wish I could hear the call outs!). My opinion of Godzilla will probably change with more plays. Full disclosure I still like Avengers IQ more than Godzilla, but I think the Avengers is better tuned at Pinball Jones. I spent so much time fine tuning my pins I wish I could have the keys and tweak their Godzilla. I think it would make all the difference.

It doesn't look elegant on the pro, but the speed of the ball coming out of that loop after hitting the spinner really puts it nicely out of control. I like that, and I'm guessing it's more of a slow dribble out after hitting mechs Godzilla on the premium.
Looking forward to seeing, anyhow,
