After a left ramp return let the ball rollover to the right flipper while holding up the left. On mine it lines up about perfect for a Dazzler shot when I do that.

Is there a post in the thread about making sure the Snikt shot is dialed in? Mine works great but I thought maybe I should check.

Quoted from RipleYYY:

confirmed by Patrick P. at STERN :
Hi Michel,
The out lane post are set at the top (widest opening) and the metal post do not ship with rubber rings.
Regards,
Patrick
i've already (re)open the outlanes posts, and the DP owner prefer that i dont remove the rubber rings (to not damage the balls)

I’m guessing if the pin is set that easy you might want to check the tilt bob and see if it’s set to “death save all you want”.

Too forgiving a tilt setting will make any pin way too easy.

Quoted from Mahoyvan:

Can anyone confirm if Cliffy makes a protector for this yet, or was that a one-off thing a few pages back?

The final version exists and I have it installed. It is very easy to install, looks great, and works well.

Cliff is currently dealing with fires in CA though I believe.

Quoted from atrainn:

For anyone with a damaged scoop protector I'd highly recommend you reach out to Cliffy. He sent me a modified Ghostbusters scoop protector, and it works flawlessly. I have no more scoop rejects and it offers a lot more protection in general than the one Stern ships with. It looks like his bent with a radius instead of a straight bend like the stock protector, which is why I think the stock protector is splitting for so many people.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Is this the best way to deal with scoop rejects because I was thinking about the coil springs someone else mentioned to lower the power. The rejects just seem to be a shot that's too fast/strong bouncing in and out.

I'm not sure mines split as I can't find a problem but I just ordered the real Cliffy and I hope that helps. I don't have a ton of scoop rejects but I would like it to be zero.

Quoted from Wildbill327:

If stern could add a coil settings for the flippers this would help slow the rejects from the scoop...

I've been thinking the same damn thing.

Quoted from atrainn:

I sent him some feedback once I got it on, the difference is legitimately night and day. Overall the protector is way better designed than the one the machine ships with. I haven't noticed any denting from ball impacts after 30 or so games on the new protector (unlike the stern protector, which was dented to hell), and I'm now making the majority of my scoop shots.

I am excited to get mine after hearing this.

Quoted from PinMonk:

Is your coil power set to soft already? That cuts about 5% off coils, which is all that's needed sometimes.
If not, I'd wait for the next update before changing out coils. There's a good chance granular coil power adjustments will be in the next updates since other releases have that now.

Where is that setting in the menu because I looked everywhere the other day and must be blind.

Edit: I should have made it to the last page. Seems it doesn’t exist still.

Quoted from twenty84:

My stock hole protector cracked (thanks to the guy that noticed it on my stream and pointed it out to me). Stern sent me a replacement but I decided to try my luck with a real Cliffy. The Cliffy one actually matches the contour of the wood around hole and makes it a little easier to make the shot.
[quoted image]

I've been waiting for my Cliffy to make the same change. The real thing does look quite a bit better.

Quoted from BENETNATH:

Wish they spread the cooperative mode to Deadpool!!

I'm still waiting for flipper strength adjustment or the ability end a game that I believe started on JP.

Quoted from GeekedOnPinball:

I’m about to pickup a HUO Deadpool Limited Edition. I’ve never even played the game before, just watched videos of the gameplay and combed online for information on the game and it looks amazing.
My question for you owners is... is there anything I should look out for aside from normal issues? Any early model problems? Any issues with the play field or warranty issues that were present on the games?
Also, am I silly for buying a game I’ve never played?
Did I mention I’m so damned excited????!!!! This is my first pin that isn’t a pro.

First and foremost, look under the lock shot guide rail. If not protected it tends to move side to side and damage the playfield. Besides that the scoop protector is low quality and tends to break.

Edit: As for buying Deadpool, it's a great pin. That doesn't mean you'll love it but it is a rare total package of art, music, callouts, layout, and rules.

Quoted from mbrave77:

have a deadpool premium that Ive always wanted to add HD glass to. I have a tmnt LE on the way so interested to see the difference. If its really big Ill buy it for my DP and SW.

I always put it off as I refused to buy a single sheet for $300 plus shipping. Now that Cointaker has Invisiglass two for $399 I have started buying because it’s a huge improvement and it’s one of few mods you can easily move from pin to pin.

The pro is good but I have owned the premium twice because I have to have the orbit return. It's just that satisfying.
