Quoted from psychosoda:

I'm getting my Deadpool Premium in about a month, short of the last two, is this all necessary? Is there a guide for the problem ramps? And is a protector necessary?
It's my first NIB so I want it to last for a looong time.

I’ve got a pro ordered for December and would also like to know what known issues I should preemptively fix.

Look at post 8831

Possibly wrong post linked?

Quoted from bob_e:

the pro the targets are stand up not drop

The lil deadpool targets are drop. The sides for "DEAD" and "POOL" are stand up.

Quoted from kingau:

I was thinking why Lil DP is not riding a unicorn? so I took it in to my own hands.
I used one screw from the old lil DP and two zip ties, to hold it in to place.
[quoted image][quoted image]

Hey can you post a screenshot of how you zip tied the unicorn Deadpool to the base? Also if it’s not too much to ask, I’d love to see a video of it in action! Thanks!

SHES HERE!!!

Hey guys. How in the world do I disassemble the rear bumper with Wolverine on it? I’m trying to install these Ninja Star mods.

Thanks!

Quoted from punkin:

Machine is folded up.

Lol

Quoted from J85M:

Those are Robs aka hooked on pinball.
What are you struggling with? I just installed the prem/LE set and it was just a case of cutting cable ties on wolverine figure and removing the screws from the pop.
What’s causing you an issue on the pro?

On the Pro, Wolverine is plastic and sits in a slot on the bumper cap. I’m not sure how to disassemble this whole thing.

Quoted from Rickwh:

Two screws on the top of the pip bumper and the plastic should come off. Wolverine will go with the plastic in one piece.
Then im assuming the screw into that red post behind him holds wolverine to the plastic with a metal tab or something.

I feel really silly right now. When I inspected this earlier it looked like Wolverine was mounted to another metal piece. You’re right. He came right out with the bumper cap.

He is riveted to the metal piece tho.

Quoted from PfRedflyer:

Hey this might be a dumb question but isn't there supposed to be a handle on the back of the playfield to remove it for maintenance? I looked at a couple of tutorials for removing the playfield because I have art blades and pinstadiums I want to install but there's just nothing back there. If thats how it's supposed to be how can I remove the playfield safely?
[quoted image]

Ironically I just asked this question last week on the Avengers Infinity Quest owners thread. The short of it is that it's NOT a handle. It's to protect certain components. The discussion then moved to 'how to properly reseat the playfield'. Interesting read and a few bits of history on the 'handle'. I recommend giving it a read.

Quoted from theun4gven:

Last week I came across a distributor who said he had a pre-order spot for a Deadpool Pro. Yesterday he called and said they could deliver immediately. My first pin and I’m loving it.
Two issues though: Anyone have a problem with their bottom pop bumper not firing when hit from the top? The second photo shows an extremely common occurrence in my games. It fires if hit hard or from any other angle but not slow/med from the top.
Also any way to fix the nearly 100% drain rate for every slow ball that rolls down the domino lane?
[quoted image][quoted image]

My Deadpool Pro lower bumper does the exact same thing and gets balls stuck there. I’d be interested in hearing if this is common on all builds or just the newest run of machines. I increased the pitch to 7 degrees and while I’ve not had a stuck ball since then, the lower bumper still occasionally doesn’t fire.

Quoted from Ceemunkey:

They aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I'm a big fan of toppers I think they finish off a pin very nicely. The DP one is pretty cool - and if you can get a new one at RRP rather than a ludicrously priced 2nd hand one - I'd definitely go with A.

Does the Deadpool topper have any extra modes with it?

#12883 1 year ago
Quoted from joelbob:

No extra modes. My only regret now owning the DP topper is I feel I have to buy toppers for my other games...

Haha. True.

#12884 1 year ago

Here’s my current Deadpool topper.

Quoted from Foo:

You guys were correct. Peels off in a second. No sticky residue. For some reason I thought they would have used some industrial strength adhesive. Glad they didn't.
[quoted image]

The one on my Deadpool came off super easy. The one on Avengers is stuck on crazy good and I've yet to get it off.

Picked up some blue T-molding to hopefully go with the new powdercoat

I'd like to grab some blue for my Avengers. Where'd you buy?

Douze points to Lucxor! I used the purple gel in mine.

Wanted to go back to playing so for now I just painted the end silver until I have a chance to finish the cap. Took a few min and fixed up the wrap to properly follow the red cutouts.
[quoted image][quoted image]

Do you have instructions or anything on how to wrap this design?

Quoted from pluto:

Was playing a game and this piece ended up in the middle of the playfield. Stopped and took off the glass and had a look but I cannot figure out where it came from. Best guess seems to be maybe the gate mechanism up top by the skill shot lanes, but I'm unsure.
Anyone able to identify?
Edit: DP Pro, if that helps at all.
[quoted image]

It goes under the left ramp. Basically the colossus shot "ceiling". There's a post somewhere in this thread. Happened to me too. It wasn't too difficult to get back in but if I hadn't seen the post I'd have been just as clueless.

Quoted from pluto:

Just wanted to update the thread. I've been putting it off but I finally found where this piece goes. The Buffalo Pinball stream clip actually puts it in the wrong spot. They put it under the plastic on the top of the ramp. It goes UNDER the ramp where the wireform meets the ramp. The long screen ontop of the plastic is the top of the hole that the screw that goes into this loose piece from the underside.
Also important to note each ramp has one of these pieces. People were saying it's the Colossus roof but it actually was the other ramp that this piece was missing on. I got it replaced, but wanted to update as pointing towards this Buffalo Pinball video is incorrect (and someone in the comments also mentions this error)

you’re welcome
