Hey guys,
Deadpool is next on our list for pinblades...
How do you think we should make them?

Quoted from heyitsjoebob:I like your inner art blades a lot. Your style really expands the existing playfield art rather than putting up walls around it. Your Dialed In work, for example, is top notch. That's what I think you should be inspired by for Deadpool.
I've been eyeing other art blades but haven't pulled the trigger yet. If Powerblades are on your roadmap, I'm definitely in.
heyitsjoebob Thanks so much! Our PowerBladez are going to be the end goal of all of our inner art designs...but, the artwork has to be done first so they can be animated and lit up. If you want to pull the trigger on other ones you have seen I have a special code for Pinside users at checkout use code: PINSIDE for 15% off.
FYI-I have a used Dialed In coming today actually! I want to make a video unboxing and installing powerbladez into it.
Quoted from PinMonk:Actually, it would be very cool if there was another layer of printed plastic underneath and the top layer goes dark and the BOOM that was formerly hidden lights up from underneath on both sides.
We don't currently have a design for Deadpool yet. Are you saying to have two layers that are just blank? Like black and white?
Quoted from PinMonk:No, have a layer on top that is something like the stern ones (not too busy), and underneath have B-O-O-M printed in large comic font, then kill the lighting on the top layer when BOOM goes off and max out lighting on the B-O-O-M underneath layer so it shines through on both sides.
PinMonk GOT it now! I felt confused at first ! I'm not sure we can do layers like that but, I like where you are going with this!! It has me thinking big time! #wheelsareturning! If we use your idea, I'll see if we can send you a set on me

Quoted from PinMonk:Really dark for a pretty bright game with a comical character. Maybe try to integrate more of the humor of the game and less black? I mean, you have time travel, dinos, sharks, disco balls, unicorns, ninjas, etc to work with. This sample is kind of one-note given the available source for the game.
Agree. Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it!
Quoted from ezeltmann:I'm really hoping for animated side blades that do a combination of interactive BOOM! and some disco action.
One can always dream.
I still love this idea and have Joe working on an alt design! stayed tuned...
