Anyone replaced any of the character plastics with figures?

Quick question, if disco multiball is lit but a mode or ninja multiball is started first, is disco multiball lost? I'm sure I've had that happen although I could be mistaken. Known bug?
Quoted from 85vett:It shouldn't be lost but it shouldn't be available to start until that mode (Battle and Quest) or other MB is completed. I do believe (but am not positive right now) that you can start Disco MB while in modes like Katanarama though.
Thanks 85
Is this a known bug? I just played a few games then switched the machine off. I keep track of my scores so record them but forgot to write the last game down before switching it off so switched it back on. Strangely, the machine showed the score from not the last game played, not the game before that but the one before that!. As far as I know every machine I've ever owned showed the last score when switched on. Bug?
Quoted from Pinbolls:Also if I rub the opto with a q-tip it resolves the opto not registering, but as soon as the pop bumper goes off, it goes back to not registering.
Turn the opto over so you can see 4 solder pads ( 2 for the wires and 2 small ones for the actual opto ). Re-flow the solder to all 4. Refit it and test. I had to do this a few days ago on an opto on GZ, fixed my issue. Fingers crossed for you.
Quoted from RobbyIRL5:Every now and then, when a ball is served, the auto-plunger launches it. Usually a cabinet slap right by the right flipper fixes it for a little. What’s the logic behind when a ball auto-plunges and why would it be auto-plunging when it should manual plunge?
I’m guessing one of my other switches on the playfield is activating or closed, so the machine thinks there is a ball in play and when it detects a ball in the shooter lane it clears it?
Switch test....thump playfield. Look for switch activations.
Anyone else get some weirdness with the high score table? last month I set a GC on my DP pro of 2.75B. I have a photo of it saying Grand champ 2.75B. Insider connected shows it as my best score on the machine. I just had a 2.6B game and it was set as GC!. Looking through the score table there's no sign of the 2.75B score? WTF?
I've also in the past finished a game, turned the machine off without recording my score ( yeah I'm sad ), turned the machine back on to retrieve the score as last game played and the score wasn't there ( showed a previous game ).
Anyone else get little anomalies like this? I haven't noticed it on any of my other spike games.
Quoted from J85M:Kev how many games do you have played on your DP and in the menus what is your high score reset set to? Check that out first.
Hi score reset is set to off, like all my machines. Besides, no other score has been lost, just the GC. Code hasn't been updated between the 2 GC's mentioned, and probably only about 5 plays.
Quoted from blizz81:I got to and beat Mr. Sinister for the first time recently...blew away my previous GC and set a number of other records. Had not played the game for a week or two since. Had friends over, turned on the games. After a little bit noticed DP rebooted itself - then saw it went into that latest code update, didn't realize auto update was on. When it came back up it had most of my records, but it had nothing from that last game played. Assumed it was just some issue with maybe the last games scores + a code update.
Sounds to me like there's still some bugs to work out.
Quoted from pghpinfan:Played my Deadpool Pro tonight which has been bullet proof for me for several years now but ran into an odd issue. The main insert LEDs are not lighting properly. For example, I start the game and 5x is blinking, I battle t-Rex and his insert doesn’t blink but 3x does. I played sabretooth and his insert doesn’t blink but Sauron’s does. It’s odd. A Led turns on for a mode but it’s just not the right one Has anyone run into this ?
I think this is going to be a problem on all spike machines going forward as they age, I've had it on my DP, my GOTG and surprisingly on my Foo fighters recently. Reseating connectors works for a while. Reseating on FF didn't last long though, I had to pop the pins out of the connectors onto node board 8, manipulate them a little for a tighter connection and refit.
Quoted from Titokombo:Has anyone ran into a lighting issue where the playfield shots flicker or change RGB colors when they aren't suppose to? Mostly happens when the left flipper button is used but occasionally any switch on the left side seems to trigger it? Issue just started and I'm not sure if it's related to a board or loose wire.
Almost certainly iffy node board to lighting board connection, see my post here

Quoted from Titokombo:Did your node board 8 pass test when ran? Did you reseat all cables or was there a specific one that was causing issues? Is hot gluing the connectors a bad idea? Pretty new to anything that doesn't involve replacing a leaf switch or light soldering job.
Node board passed all tests. No need to reseat all cables, just the 2 connectors on the end, CN2 & CN3 ( opposite end of the RJ45 connectors ). I believe the light boards are all daisy chained off these 2 connectors. If reseating these 2 connectors doesn't fix the issue at least temporarily, try reseating the connectors on the light boards themselves. No need to hot glue anything because all that does is stop connectors falling off and this doesn't happen with these connectors. I'm no expert and anything I've said above could be incorrect but I've found reseating CN2 & CN3 ( it could just be one of them honestly ) has fixed my strange insert issues on multiple occasions.
Quoted from adamross:Most of my inserts started ghosting tonight and changing weird colors. Still managed a GC score at least. Any tips on what's causing this?
Reseating CN2 & CN3 on node boards 8 and/or 9 usually fixes weird insert issues. All the light boards seem to be daisy chained off these. If that doesn't fix it reseat the connectors on the light boards. I've had this issue on DP, GOTG and Foo. On Foo reseating didn't last long, I ended up popping the pins out of CN2/CN3 connectors to node 8, bending the pins a little and refitting. Seems to have sorted it so far.
