Hey DP owners. I have a small problem, hope y'all can help with. Sometimes when I hit the scoop it will not return the ball and I have to wait for the lost ball to kick in to return the ball. It doesn't happen all the time but man it is annoying. Any help is appreciated.
Quoted from PinMonk:You just need to adjust the switch in the scoop so it registers fully every time. This is a very common problem with Deadpool and KISS, especially. Sometimes Ghostbusters.
Thanks. It's my 1st machine. Any good YouTube videos on it? Or is it really easy to do?
Quoted from PinMonk:Really easy. Just bend the arm up a little more so the ball will make it register each time. Also, you might want to lift the playfield and make sure both screws are still holding the switch body on tightly. The screws can loosen or fall out over time from vibration, and that will make it not register, too.
Thanks I'll try that out.

Thanks it seems to work now! Plus just got a personal high score!

I just clean it up. I think there was some crap in it.
Quoted from Jakegreenhaus:Hi everyone . I'm seeing that my node 1,8,9 are not responding. How do I fix it? Thanks.
Yes I had a power outage. I'm waxing the play field now I'll check and let you know how it went thx bud
Quoted from PinMonk:Lift the playfield and check the connections of all the connectors between the boards. Did you recently update the software? Power outage?
1 is the Cabinet Node board in the bottom front of the inside cabinet
8 is the 48V driver node up by the flippers
9 is a 48V driver node about mid playfield
Ok, so I checked all connections and they all seem to be soiled.
I run a bus test and still 1,8,9 are not responding. Uhh. What next? Is it ok to still play the game?
I just wiggled all the connections, they felt tight. I didn't try unplugging them them though.
I played a about 3 games and I didn't see any problems in game play or machanical problems. I'm new to the hobby and I appreciate all the feed back.
Quoted from PinMonk:If the node boards aren't responding, you shouldn't get anything that uses 48v since both those node boards control that. Maybe it messed up your firmware. Try downloading (or re-downloading) the latest version for your machine (Pro or Prem/LE, they're different) and try re-flashing it.
Thanks for the quick reply guys. That makes sense cause the game is playing fine. ( no lights out and all machanical parts are working)
Quoted from sirlonzelot:Great score that I am miles away from
Thanks I got 400 weapons on ball1. 3 ninja mb's
