If anyone is interested in upgrading their speakers and lighting to blown away the look of an LE, check my thread

pasted_image (resized).jpegpasted_image (resized).jpegPlus, you convert you speaker setup to 5 1/4. The speaker light Doug makes for that reflect a lot less and the game sounds so much better. I made a post earlier in this thread and a separate threat that outlines what you need to do.
Quoted from Allibaster:Works great. I've always used Naphtha to clean all my playfields, then wax. Don't use anything water based.
So you put this on a microfiber cloth and buff?
I just got done modding the crap out of my DP Prem. I still have to add 2 more custom figures (Domino and Cable) and new coin door lights, but its 95% done.
I also made a custom Tournament button that's flush mount which I will be selling soon. I can;t believe Stern expects you to use the yellow one that is made for slot cut SAM and early Spike i.e. GB and AS, it sticks out 1/2 inch and looks terrible.
Steve and Pinball Refinery did the sword polish and powder coating for wire forms and external parts. I received everything in the mail in 1 weeks time frame. He coated my, TWD and MET too and even got me the rails that I wanted.

I am noticing that when the ball hits the 3 mini ninja targets hard they don't drop. Soft or medium strength are no issue. Any adjustment for that?
Also, is there any setting to allow the music play during attract mode? I hate that when the machine is idle the sound ceases and they fade out the music when the game is over.
Quoted from sohchx:I see allot of awesomeness in that room. Really dig the Punchout pic!!
I made those out of perler beads. Took a long time.
I just posted a custom DP firmware. Please check this thread.

I wanted to share this collaboration between Cleland and myself. Many thanks to Cleland for doing such an amazing job editing my song selections so they sound as seamless as possible in game. Without him this project wouldn’t have come to fruition. You rock!! This is strictly a music mod as changing out all the in game speech with Ryan Reynolds is impossible and to have a handful of his quotes mixed in just doesn't sound consistent and therefore is not something that will be implemented. I know technologies like DeepFakes are allowing you to emulate someone’s voice so maybe one day we can convert the existing speech sounds to sound like Ryan.
Below is a link to a direct .IMG file that needs to be flashed to a new SD card. Essentially, you are writing the .IMG file to the SD card and then swapping it out in your game.
The main benefit is you can keep your original SD card with the stock code and just swap out a new 8gb+ card with this custom firmware flashed and retain the stock card as backup in the event something gets corrupt. 8gb-32gb sizes work fine.

If you have a Mac you can use a free program called DD utility. If you have a PC, you can use Etcher. https://www.balena.io/etcher/
The code is based off v1.02 and currently is for LE/Prem's. If there's enough request either myself or Cleland can do a Pro version.
Please use Rarlabs utility to extract after downloading. https://www.rarlab.com/

Quoted from jalpert:Decreasing the power should get the ball to hit lower on the flipper. Worked for me anyway.
Quoted from bowtech:Just reiterating please make this happen for us pro owners!
I posted in my other thread that I was having issues downloading the Pro firmware form Sterns website and asked if someone could provide me a link via dropbox. I am heading out to CA for work and wont be back until the end of next week. I asked Cleland to see if he could do the Pro firmware port for me.
Stay tuned,.

Cleland posted the pro version in my thread and I have added the link to the first page.
Enjoy!
Anyone who downloaded our custom firmware, there was some complaints DMX and Diplo songs were louder than the rest. Please download the new version and let us know if it's fixed. Linked below to the thread.

Quoted from Rob_G:I asked Gomez about a feature for the game (pre 1.0) and he said they were working on something similar for when it was completed, but I've seen nothing of the sort. It had to do with allowing the user to customize the audio in the settings, switching around which effects are used where. Well, the least they could do is add a jukebox mode to the game and/or allow game over songs to play in entirety. The quality of those full length songs is somewhat wasted in the game.
Rob
When doing the sound mod, I noticed that there are a number of repeated placeholders for music entities that just point to the same Boom song, so hopefully they will add more audio and agree it would be good to add a jukebox.
Quoted from Peanuts:Stern adds a jukebox feature called "DJ Mixer" in the latest TMNT game code.
It will be included in all future game codes releases for Spike 2 pinball machines.
It would be so rad on Deadpool!
I will have fun with that when I update my Deapool sound mod.
hey, I just replaced all the rubbers with the exception of the long ones behind the left and right side drop targets. It doesn't say in the owners manual what size they are? I had to leave them stock and unfortuantly they look faded compared to the titan silicon ones. Anyone know what size they are?
Here is what those flipper look like. get them here: https://pinside.com/pinball/market/classifieds/ad/108706
