Had requests for this one, so sharing it here now that it's done -- Rocket City Pinball's latest 3D Start Button, for your Deadpool pin!

DP_Red_RCP (resized).jpgDP_Red_RCP (resized).jpg

Red section can be in your choice of metallic red or standard red. I thought I'd like metallic red better, but surprisingly I like the standard red -- maybe it's the brighter comic-bookish color. The choice is yours though!

Can't wait to see some pics on the actual game instead of my Game of Thrones, lol.

Available here in my shop, on my website, or via my Facebook page.

Quoted from Soulstoner:

Your pics make this look so much better than their product images. It’s gorgeous.

Definitely helps that his are on the actual game instead of on my Game of Thrones! I'll be updating my site and shop with these as soon as I have a chance. Thank you to all, I appreciate it!

Quoted from Beatnik-Filmstar:

Is that the standard red or metallic?

That's the standard. IMO that's the better of the two options for this button. I started with metallic thinking it'd be better, but the standard solid red really works well for this design, more comic-booky.

Joined the club today with a NIB Premium build date 10/27/2023. Looking forward to digging into this thread some more.

Quoted from Initiative:

NIB premium in the house today - built last week. No clicking during boot, and lock up-post is correct length and working. perhaps stern has received the memo.

Tell me more about this clicking during boot -- I had my the pf of my NIB premium up today while powering on and heard unusual clicking noises I haven't heard on my other Sterns, that I've noticed anyway.

Quoted from blizz81:

From what I know of the problem, I’m not sure how any of the Sterns released after some point earlier in this year wouldn’t have this problem. Granted it doesn’t happen on every boot of my Foo, so it might take a bit for it to show up. But basically you flip the power switch & normally you hear a single click, but on the newest Sterns you might hear one click, you might hear 2-4 clicks, or you might hear it sit there and click 40-50 times well into the boot cycle.

Interesting. Anyone know what it is or if it's a problem? Heading out for dinner but might record video later tonight.

Quoted from awesome1:

None of my machines have had the problem, but PinMonk did a very nice write up on it and how to fix it.
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/stern-clicking-power-supply-fix

Thank you so much for directing me to this. I'll gather what info I can and file a warranty claim immediately.

Quoted from blizz81:

The normal response seems to be either they’ll send a new power supply (which won’t help), a power supply and PDB, or a PDB, but I think it’s fairly common to get a replacement PDB that also has out-of-spec caps. But if you’re not willing to source the caps yourself and replace on the PDB, the best you can hope for is to a) get the PDB swapped and b) that it has older / good-spec caps.

Fair enough, and I'm certainly capable, but I'd prefer Stern take care of this and I do the easy plug & play first. The game was literally built last week and came out of the box today -- on principle I shouldn't have to be desoldering capacitors on day 1 for a game built six days ago.

Quoted from BrokenChair:

Just FYI every new Deadpool has the stand up targets wired backwards not sure it was in the premium but stern confirmed me wiring on the pros for the last couple of months ; if you do a search or search key post you should be able to find it ; welcome to my club I get my pro next Wednesday!

Thanks for the tip but that might be only on the Pro? The Premium has drop targets for DEAD / POOL, and I haven't noticed any such issues with mine thus far. I'm sure we'll play more tomorrow so I'll keep an eye out.

Bwahaha, check this out. I'll get some hate for sure but I love it.

My brother bought me this as a gift:

Screenshot_20231106_200524_Amazon Shopping (resized).jpgScreenshot_20231106_200524_Amazon Shopping (resized).jpg

I wanted to put it on the wall above the game, but the problem is, it lights up, so I wouldn't be able to reach the on/off switch. So I looked around the room and pondered my options, and then I had a crazy idea:

20231106_200025 (resized).jpg20231106_200025 (resized).jpg

I think it's hilarious! He's got a forward-leaning jump going anyway, so it's funny that he'd bust thru the glass. And honestly I was never crazy about his partially pulled up hood on the Prem/LE so this takes care of that too. lol!

Quoted from punkin:

Cause no one want's switches on power points over there.

I apologize, help me understand here -- do you mean something about running a switch to the wall plug?

If so, that's not an option here -- it's battery operated, plus it has an internal timer that shuts the power off after an hour ... so without taking it apart, bypassing internal components and wiring in my own switch/plug/etc, that wasn't an option here.

Quoted from CoolCatPinball:

It's been done for a while. However, Stern does seem to be revisiting past titles and giving them some polish. So, who knows. DP doesn't really need anything more than it has already.

If they do decide to update, I'd really like them update the color on the Team Up meters -- once it's fully "charged" (meaning they're available for Team Up now, it should change color. It just stays red so it's hard to tell if it's full/ready at a glance.

New addition today…12 days old baby Deadpool.

Ours are twins!

Just updated to 1.10. I now get ads to buy a Stranger things. soo worth the wait

Bro I thought you were kidding. WTAF I hate this, gotta see if I can turn this off

I found a new thing in the Standard Adjustments, #55, "Display Message of the Day", I turned this to OFF and it appears to have killed their stupid commercials. Wow, that was super lame of them.

Quoted from SiN13:

I was going to say Cujo, but maybe The Howling?

Unless it's the background playing tricks on us, it's not Cujo -- her hair was very short in that movie. Hair appears long in the reflected image.
