So...was kicking around getting a GOTG (one of my favorite movies), but just can't get into it. Started playing a DP Pro, and really dig it! The movies are something of a guilty pleasure of mine, but as I put games on location at charity arcade for kids, I can't really have a game that is super questionable in content (sounds, graphics, modes). As the game is based on the comics, I am guessing we'd be good to go? Or is that not the case?

Don't give up on GOTG! There are some tough shots in the game, but the first time you bring 9 Hadron Enforcers into an Orb Multiball you'll be back on board.
Cherry Bomb MB is a reachable mini-wizard mode that's also very fun... I think it's a good game.
I was excited to try GOTG, especially with the Cleland audio to make that negative into a positive. But I just like the FEEL of DP better. I could be wrong, you tell me, but DP seems way faster. What would you say are the pros and cons of each machine?
Thanks for the pros and cons everyone. I think one of the things I thought was nice about DP is that the layout was so different. A friend who hasn't played it asked me what it was like, and I said...nothing I could think of off the top of my head. So that's a big plus in my book...
Just joined the club last night (traded my IMVE for a NIB DP) and this game is a LOT of fun. Hysterical, too, easily one of the funniest pins I've played in a long time...
Just wanted to hop back in and say this game is absolutely hilarious, pretty sure the funniest pin I've ever owned. The thing I like about it is it has so many little inside jokes. I've played it a couple hundred times, and I am still hearing and seeing new stuff.
About fell over when the vampire in Disco Multiball quoted MONSTER BASH of all things! Holy crap. Love it!

I always set up all my machines as steep as they can go. I don't care about setting at a perfect pitch - I always want them to play as fast as possible. Have been collecting for over 10 years, and every machine I own has been set up that way. Love the speed and rush of it!
DP Pro is set that way, and I get ninja multi about every 4-5 games I'd guess.
Saw a random award I'd not seen before today - Extra Ball is Lit. Not sure if that's new, but I dug it for sure.
And definitely need to get that option to turn off GI light for Disco Multiball for sure. Looking forward to 1.0.
This game is REALLY good.
Quick question...since the 1.01 update, I don't think I've gotten the SAY IT ANNOUNCER GUY one time. Before I thought it said it too much, but I didn't want it to vanish altogether...
