I thought when you had 4 booms holding the button only used one on old code ?

Can someone simply summarize the biggest changes they made im so confused at the notes.. I have 9 games DP, JB, JP,FF,GZ,SW,Jaws,IMDN, John wick

I traded in my dp then missed it and bought it back my very first game on DP was 6.5 billion no idea how that happened highest since I was 3 billion…

I can never hit the snickkkt ever it just does r happen all I do is try to hit it but I hit it randomly sometimes but can’t never get it down on purpose maybe my position of my target is off ? Here’s a pic feedback appreciated and tips for getting the snickk from you great players please

It’s barely resting on the rail and get more snickkkts when it was lower not near the rail I had it positioned lower but it seemed the angle was off and it just juggles around and never makes it up the ramp… I hit the target 50 times and it will hit it and go up the ramp 2-3 times … oh well … maybe I suck

But literally my first game on Deadpool was 6.5 billion I’m not kidding… no idea how that happened

Out of all my games DP is the most fun even over GZ. It’s just pure simple fun

Am hearing backlog on cliffy orders is about 9 months.

Does anyone have full or partial DP cliffy set to sell?
In particular I am looking for the 3bank drop target protector. Anyone know of alternatives I can find in the meantime?

I dont see how it could be the code honestly. I have the latest, no issues. Although having every spinner not working is odd. You could start by testing the spinners to make sure the switches are working.

Anyone else on the latest code finding that Sknits don't register anymore? Nor does the Super skill shot up the ramp to the katana lock...
Not sure if it's just me...

This sounds like a switch is stuck somewhere constantly awarding points. Maybe run a switch test and see if anything else is triggering when you press the flippers.

I didn’t notice that, but TBH wasn’t really paying attention. My spinners don’t register since the update. I’m going to do switch test this weekend and see if they register. If they do then I might download the code the ‘old-fashioned’ way, via laptop and SD card swap. Maybe there was something buggy about the over-the-air download.

Installed the update and no issues with spinners or anything that I noticed. Actually had a great game breaking a billion but never got to see the new Berserker Boom . I hadn’t played my DP in a while but I felt with the new code update the pops were flashing a lot more than before (all three at once on and off), but maybe that’s just me not remembering how they always acted.

Strange… I’ll run a switch test but both the super skill shot and the SKNIT shots were working for me before the code update…and I played literally the day before.

Wanted to see if I was alone with the issue or not… looks like I am so I’ll investigate further.

Ran switch test on mine, snikt registered but spinners do not.
I’m downloading code on my laptop to put on a new SD card to see if that fixes the issue. Spinners worked just fine the day before I updated to new code.

Downloaded the code and put on USB and plugged in, but it doesn’t update (I’m guessing because it’s already on the latest version). So how can I reload the code?
Do I have to do a factory reset?
I looked in the manual and there’s no helpful information pertaining to this sort of thing.

The other option is to download the full SD card image (https://sternpinball.com/support/sd-cards/) and write it directly to an SD card.

Imaged a new SD card and still no spinners registering, so there must be a connection or board issue somewhere.
Just really seems odd that the problem coincided with the code update.

Wanted to share mod I created to cover up the ball path on the right in to the Katana after the orbit.
Added a Desert Eagle (full size, maybe too big, but its pinball! too much is just enough!) and added an Arduino w/LED at the tip that is triggered by a switch in the plunger lane when the ball goes around the orbit left to right.

I doubt @GeorgeGomez at Stern will see this, but what a great pin, thank you!

Hey guys I'm new with dead pool so it might of already have been mentioned but I wanted to get a shooter lane protector of some sort to look after shooter lane...I noticed with the Stern factory setting the ball eject power was set to highest and after 4days the right side of the ball channel where ball makes contact after or before hitting the side of shooter lane with protector...it's cracked the clear coat and a little dented..not much but straight away after noticing, I went to adjustments and turned it down to 150, and I turned down the eject on Hellhouse battle scoop vuk too..so much better!

I'm Lucky even if I see myself perform a Snnnkkt shot..it's so quick

Can someone tell me what's the fastest way to trigger the wolverine team-up to defeat sabertooth?... I typically get it but no idea how - and need to do it quick for the badge...

Hit the wolverine shot till the blue triangle lights up. Then start the battle and shoot Wolverine again.

I wish Stern would stop shipping their games with the trough eject cranked all the way up. Every used game I’ve gotten has had the shooter lane chewed up from it. I use these on my Stern games until I can get Cliffy protectors. They’ve work well for me.

All my games have trough eject at 190ish

As far as balll launch power what is the reccomended setting for this game I think I have it at 130 now should I raise to 150?

The blue rubber protectors on each side of the left ramp and the one next to the ninja multi ball glide ramp anyone have a link or part number having problems finding it

So I'm not going crazy... The game REGISTERS a super skill shot by locking the ball in the katana hold but it does not AWARD the 5M and the Super Skill shot...
During a game, the Sknit target registers a hit but does not award me the 2x multiple...
Think it is maybe the opto after the bend at the top of the ramp?
Thoughts?

I think this is what you are looking for, there are 5 of them in the game, 2 on each ramp, 1 on the guide between Lil Deadpool and the right orbit. Page 47 of the manual.

So the problem has to be the upper ramp opto...
I've unplugged and reseated the connections for it. I can see it gets power and even when I block the optical connection with my finger, the light goes out on the board... But it doesn't register in the switch test...

Just wondering if that could be code or a hardware issue...
Photos of what I'm talking about are attached...

Any ideas? Thanks all!

Guessing one side is bad or both and needs to have the solder reflowed. Stern had a bad batch of Optos a while back that the legs were cut too short, and would break the solder joint.

I had another question I used to have light extra ball at 10 weapons now it’s 25 weapons is there a setting for this I can’t find it after 10 mins of looking did the patch extend the time for 15 weapons? Can anyone chime in and help me with this ?

I think you’re looking for the standard adjustment called Extra Ball Percentage.

No it’s not that one it’s the one that adjusts how many weapons light the extra ball I found it

It's a super tight shot to hit cleanly. Even harder to get it through and hit the Colossus jackpot target as it exits.

Unless there is something around the back of the horseshoe that is physically blocking the ball you should be able to make it.

Anyone know how to get the Krak Shot achievement? I've easily beaten the Megaladon in less than the 30 second kill but no credit. Unless I'm just totally misreading the achievement.

Looks like I’ve got it. I believe it’s specifically the final kill shot in X seconds.

I'll trap up, boom the last shot and then hit the scoop. Beat him in like 2 seconds but it doesn't give me credit. No idea.

How did you beat him in 2 seconds? You need 5 red shots on Megalodon to complete it.

It's a tricky achievement but if you save up 4 Booms all you need to do is make one red shot, trap up, Boom 4 times and then hit the scoop.

Hey all, I am considering bringing in Deadpool as game number 4 and I was wondering what the consensus on this game is in 2024. My current lineup is Stranger Things Pro, Jaws Premium and JP Premium. I am a big fan of Insider Connected so I am not super interested in any other brands. Basically the 3 options I've been considering are Godzilla Prem, Deadpool or just waiting to see what 2025/Spike 3 brings. I've had a fair bit of time on both a Deadpool Pro and a Godzilla Premium local to me (both didn't play super great tho as the owners don't maintain them).

I'm a big fan of Marvel stuff and so the theme is an instant winner from me. Most people say the game (while good) isn't super deep. I'm not overly concerned there as I'm going to probably never complete Jurassic Park lol... so I could use another game like Jaws that I can see more of with a bit of a longer ball time. My hesitancy with Godzilla is that I already own 2 pretty solid Elwin titles and I'm afraid it will feel like... more of the same? Alternatively Deadpool has a fairly unique layout from a completely different designer.

Then there is the Pro vs Premium debate. I absolutely love the entire art package with the pro but I'm not sure I want to lose out on the premium features. Even though the general consensus is that the Pro is a better deal for you money, is there anyone here who regrets their pro purchase? Are there any decent replacements for the Disco Ball and does that ramp diverter really make a huge difference? I haven't been able to find any Deadpool Premiums to try... just a whole lot of Godzilla Premiums and the occasional Deadpool Pro. Jack Danger's stream gameplay really makes the Pro look good LOL

I can make the shot pretty easy but it comes back with clunky sound every time…

Well it specifically says, make the megaladon final shot in 30 seconds. I would take that to mean after you have hit enough red shots to get yourself to the final shot and now you have 30 seconds. But, you're probably right. What they probably mean is take him out in 30 seconds or less, Start to finish. I'll try that, thanks.
