Quoted from Brutbae87:

So got my Deadpool today and love the gameplay! Couple issues I have. The Deadpool targets are backwards however thanks to some awesome members on here I can get that corrected pretty quickly. Another issue it came with was when locking balls in the katana it only works about 20-30% of the time it’s supposed to. I noticed when the ball goes up to the post it just rolls right over it. I know kind of a dark pictures but are the posts supposed to be higher than what mine is?
[quoted image]

Can you post a pic showing the spring in the VUK assembly that props up that post? Want to make sure it’s all seated properly.

Quoted from Mmoomey:

Got my pro machine. A spot opened up with flipnout pinball and it took less than a week to show up to my house (Thanks Zach and team).
First game lil deadpool couldnt take my crappy play and decided to end himself lol . How much is the bracket he stands on supposed to move vs just the force of the ball causing it to shake? Wondering if i need to tighten it up
[quoted image]
Already ordered the pop bumpers mod, deadpool shooter rod from modfather and new balls.

My fun replacement...

#15153 83 days ago

Has anyone had random resets on their machine? DP pro, I had it twice today, once coming out of a menu from a game in progress and the other was during normal play.

Re seating SD card but will flash a new one if I see it again. I figured the code was pretty solid by now, no experience with this game before now.

Just ordered my premium today. Won't ship till oct but super excited my favorite on location pinball to play. Can't way till have it at home.

It's a lot of fun. Congrats on pulling the trigger!

I had an august run with all the same problems. Katana post too short, DEADPOOL targets reversed, a bunch of loose screws, screws for blue rubbers sticking out into the ramp, and a region locked CPU!!! slowly working through each issue

Not sure where you're located, but there's quite a few good deals on used (like new) premiums available right now. Also distributors with premiums in stock.

August 11 2023. Mine came with the DEAD POOL target issue but only took me 8 min. to fix. My only issue now is ball is not locking on Katana. Looks like a post issue, not sure. This is what I see when it's supposed to lock the ball. I would think this would look it. (Sorry for the bad pic, took it this morning before leaving). I Just goot better video. The Ball is jumping over the post. I am 100% it's too short.

Me and others had the same issue. Stern sent me a new post. The one that came with the game was 5.32" in length. I just got the new one this week and haven't installed it yet, but it is slightly longer so hopefully it does the trick

#15161 78 days ago

Hey there, I'm looking for a deadpool song which is not in the DJ-Mixer or the downloadable album. Can anyone send me a HQ-file of this remix?

Here is another song with the same sounds but it's not the Stern's version

I did the Clip set purchased from Mezel Mods, I haven’t install them all yet. They do add to the glow of the game, but nothing beats the green glow on Godzilla. It appears that they only have the Pro set in stock.

I just received and installed the correct 515-7350-00 post from Stern. In addition to being longer the c-clip groove is lower relative to the bottom.

Looks like that will add about 1/4" or so to the height. That should do the trick for sure.

Stern knows about this issue and will mail you a replacement post. Just call 1-800-KICKERS (and leave a voicemail if they don’t answer, they called me back within a couple hours yesterday).

#15170 71 days ago

I know this is an old question. But in terms of shots what is difference with the premium over the Pro. I know Disco is in the premium but is that a different shot?

Quoted from LFD45:

There is a drop ramp above the shooter lane when you hit the left orbit so that it returns to the right flipper. These are Disco Loops on the Prem which does not exist in the Pro. The ball goes to the pops on the pro.

That's it in terms of shots.

Just unboxed my pro from the August build. Add another tally to the short post/DAEDLOOP club.

#15174 70 days ago

Installed the replacement post on mine and all is good now. It took a long time for the part to arrive. Stern doesn't give a tracking number or shipment notification

#15175 70 days ago

For those with Pinstadium, where are you connecting your UV flasher? I've got mine on Wolverine right now as Pinstadium suggested, but in one of the recent Cary Hardy videos he said he installed it on Dazzler.

As I have it, it's a little too intense during berserker rage. Meanwhile he game seems too dark during disco mb

It would certainly be easier if Stern sent it to you, but you can sign up with Fed Ex for free and they'll send you a notification when something is inbound to you.

There is a custom setting for the GI level during Disco Multiball. The default is pretty much total darkness. I find the first setting above that (forget what it's called) is sufficient on my DP Pro.

Anyone have a good mounting idea for a dazzler figure from a premium on a pro…..really don’t want to use a zip tie.

Probably a dumb question, but the Comet lighting upgrade specifically says "pro" in the description on their website. There's no difference in pro vs. premium in getting this upgrade is there?

Leave it in the box, open the coin door and put it in there.

Got our Pro last Friday (Sept. build). Looks like whoever is installing the decals are putting them on too low, not offsetting them from the edge. Decal bottom actually hangs past the bottom edge

DP on the left, GZ on the right.
pasted_image (resized).pngpasted_image (resized).png

Looking at the front edge from under the pin. You can see the white backside of the DP decal. GZ left, DP on the right.

I’d ask your distributor to get you a decal for any like that. Probably should trim it back or it’s gonna peel.

Mine was the same on the front. I had to trim it with a razor blade.

I thought about that, but I was worried I'd end up seeing a white edge of the decal.

Did you offset the cut from the edge or did you cut along the edge of the cabinet? I can't say the cabinet edge is nice and sharp, I suspect it might look a little jagged if I followed the edge.

If you cut offset from the edge, I assume you used a straight edge as a guide?

Anything else I should be aware of? Obviously use a new blade.

P.S. We're neighbors (Auburn)!

You watch HEP videos on YouTube? He uses a sanding block to sand the decal edge off and the corner of the cab at the same time. Of course he’s a master…. But might be worth a try. Then if you see the white use a sharpie or a steady hand and some black paint?

Good luck

Hey neighbor! New blade and offset from the edge. It’s not entirely smooth as the wood isn’t a clean cut but it’s not bad. Of coarse I’d be thrilled if I didn’t have to do this on the first place….

Spoke with stern on a different issue and just mentioned the decal, they offered to send me a new front one but the reality is I’ll never re decal it for that issue and declined it.

Thanks for the info!

Looks like I'll trim (offset from the edge) it a bit and see how that goes. I'll probably have the distro get me a front decal while it's under 'warranty' just it case I muck something up.

Wow! I've had my DP Pro for 4 years and my best score is 870M. Mind you, we had a baby right after I bought it so I didn't touch it for like 2.5 of those years... but still. Impressive! I have to keep brushing up my skills.

#15193 61 days ago

I feel like this is a stupid question because I can't find it asked before on this topic but....how do you remove the 'right' ramp (which is actually on the left) from this game? I found one nut under the playfield but it's still held down and I feel like an idiot because I can't see any other nuts holding it down. What am I missing?

OK, I thought I could serve the ball with the lockdown bar button but that doesn't work. Looked through the settings but couldn't find it.

Does the lockdown bar button work at all throughout the game (Boom)? Maybe check switch test and make sure that the button is functioning properly. Might be as easy as adjusting the button/switch under it.

Also check the shooter lane switch.

Yes the boom button when it lights up works fine.

OK, after going through the settings again decided to play some more Deadpool and now it started working. The ball can be served with the lockdown bar button again. Not sure what the problem was.

I finally joined the club today. Got a build from Aug 10th and it looks like my DEADPOOL targets are wired backwards and the lock post in my katana is too short.

At this point I would be more curious if ANY Pros from this most recent run had the DEADPOOL targets wired properly and the correct post.

Welcome to the Deadpool club. Hopefully not too much of a hassle to get those issues fixed.

Just got the DEAD POOL switch issue fixed. In my case in the switch test all the wire colors were correct, the target switch assemblies were mounted in the wrong locations. There was enough wire slack to rearrange them.

Going to call Stern tomorrow about the post length issue. It looks like Pinball Life carries the right part for $45 but this seems like something Stern should cover. Funny it’s the same mech from LOTR which I played this weekend and noticed the similarities.
