Has anyone had their premium powder coated in the same style as the limited edition with the beautiful gold flakes? I would love to see pictures.
[quoted image][quoted image]

I did, very very happy with it... check post 11,665 in this thread.

Search the thread for 'powder' or browse the gallery. You'll find a bunch.

Quoted from CashMoney:

I wish pinball life would get their mirror blades back in stock… those are the easiest to install and don’t require and screws. Guess I’ll just keep waiting.

Hard for me to imagine anything easier than the Cointaker ones I just installed. Took 5 minutes.

Anybody seen this type of plug in a node board. This is on my 2021 premium in the apron node board where insider goes…

Is it just a dummy?

What’s is an aerial if you don’t mind. It came this way from stern, definitely interesting.

hah yep!

At first i wondered if it were a wifi antenna. but it just appears to be a crimped off patch cord

Ok, just seems like an exe way to do it when a plastic plug would have done.

So my DP Premium is here and I am ordering mods. Are both the Lucxor katana handle & HOOKED pop cap throwing stars both out of stock?

Man, if you want mods order a pinwoofer kit, comet lighting and invisiglass.

Shaker, Mirrored Side Art, and Comet Kit all ordered. Won't be playing a ton in the summer so will hopefully pick up the glass in person later this year.

Tonight I got the Sparkly Unicorn Award! (I think that’s what Lil’ Deadpool called it)
Has anyone else come across this?

#13268 1 year ago
Quoted from bigguybbr:

I just had one of the legs on the microswitch snap off for the hell house hole. It seems like any of the VUK switches on Marco and pinball life are out of stock. Anyone know where I can find a replacement?

As I grew impatient waiting for a replacement microswitch for the hell house scoop, I remembered I had some of the old buttons from an arcade 1up cab I modded, and those have micro switches. I was able to swap over the P shaped switch arm and it installed without any issues into the game. The tension is greater than the stock ones, but it’s fine for a scoop. I wouldn’t use it on a roll over switch.

It's ace! The unicorn is part of one of the later Lil DP modes. Bounce i think. You hit the shut gates heaps of times, then they open and you hit the targets a couple times to get magic unicorn poo.

Animation is nearly as good as mech or disco.

Yes! I think I had to hit the moving lit shot four times, then hit Lil' Deadpool to lock the ball. The reward is 50 million points plus an increased playfield multiplier for the rest of the game. Not ignoring the mini-modes pays off!

Is everyone protecting their playfields with washers?

I put them under the left ramp, the hot under that ramp, wolverine shot, and behind little Deadpool.

I didn't add anything. I opened my Premium last week. Put a piece of mylar in the shooter lane and got it setup just in time for graduation weekend and let everyone play it. I do have some interesting audit numbers after the weekend that don't make sense. Wish I would have looked quick before the weekend.

Edit: Now I just have to find time to add shaker, shooter rod, side art, katana handle, and speaker upgrade before I really start playing it

Have you ever lifted your ramp or removed the wolverine/katana ball guide and plastics back there? If not you might have some surprises, but you may also be fortunate that your machine does not to have any of these issues.

Never lifted it, but have kept an eye on it. If it's worn where i can't see it, then it doesn't exist.

It's interesting it's not mentioned in the Premium DP manual but I found it listed on the Led-Zeppelin manual: (terminator plug 045-5315-00). Guess Stern hasn't updated the manual for the Insider connection.

Called it. Back in high school (in the 90s), we used twist off the terminator from the secretaries office computer and bring down the coax network they used. That’s probably some sort of cyber crime these days.

Wanted to go back to playing so for now I just painted the end silver until I have a chance to finish the cap. Took a few min and fixed up the wrap to properly follow the red cutouts.

Lol that's hilarious, good ole bus topology. Always had a kid in our group that would slightly pull out the SCSI terminators to try and mess with the printers but not make it visibly obvious it was a cabling issue.

Don't think there's a need for a terminator on RJ45 unless you're running some other type of signal over the cable (which I doubt is happening here.) Out of curiosity I emailed Stern technical support to ask about it and they confirmed it's just a filler plug to protect the port from damage/debris. Beats a rubber insert that could fall out from playfield vibration/movement.

SCSI is pronounced “Scuzzy” for all of you too old/young to to have enjoyed getting to make innuendos about dirty scsi ports back in the day

Anyone looking for a NIB stern topper? Bought one somewhat impulsively but second guessing whether or not i actually need a topper. I paid $750 so that’s what I’d be looking for (plus shipping if necessary)

I noticed in the Stern Insider achievements there is a section for Wooly Mammoth. Anybody know how to get to a Wooly Mammoth in the game? I don't believe I have ever seen it.

The wooly mammoth was cut from the game along with the kraken believe both where originally set to be modes/featured in the game.

If you read the achievements they relate to the T-Rex or Megladon.

It’s been a ride trying to get my Deadpool shipped to me but after a month and a half I finally got my Pro. This game is so much fun.

Add me to the group. Waited patiently for this and it’s finally here. Love it. Got a cool surprise too - George autographed it! Not sure if they are extras from LE run years ago or he just surprises a few owners here and there but pretty cool! As far as issues - glass is fine but menu buttons barely work. Born May 13th, 2022.

Here we go mate, no pixelation what so ever, white areas are simply the light reflecting back off the artwork, printed from a source file, so no dodgy scans or JPEG’s off the net etc, I wanted it to look as close to factory as possible.
