The plastics at the top of the playfield that have characters on them , I have seen some machines with them as actual figures.. Any idea which ones and where to get???
Thanks in advance - looking very much forward to this..
The premium has figures in place of the plastics. I have the pro, and I have the say the plastics are actually pretty nice. I have no plans to replace them.

I’ve got a premium and I prefer the plastics of the pro.

Why do you prefer the plastics??
Is there any differences from the Deadpool pro that came out in 2018 and one made today???

Love the artwork over the sculpted figures, plus you only get wolvie & dazzler in figure form compared to the pros plastics of wolvie, colossus, Deadpool in his hammock, dazzler, domino.
I will likely add the plastics to my premium.

Current runs of DP will include insider connect, thats about it.
Quoted from PunishersLEMC:Why do you prefer the plastics??
Personally, since this is based on the comic art, I think the flat plastics that use the same art look better and tie to the overall the theme. I don't like mixing and matching artists withing a game.
It's all a matter of preference. Do you best Marie Kondo and go with whatever "Sparks Joy"

Colossus was cheaper when I bought him a few years ago.
Search: Marvel Universe Colossus Series #2 Figure #13 (be aware of different versions no idea what is real or fake).
I planned on putting him in my DP Pro when it arrived…11 months later, I think I like him right where he is at. Someone on Pinside epoxied a pinball to his hand and I thought it was awesome so I did the same (J-B Weld gray). Pro should be arriving in the next week, very excited.

The front of the Katana guide has a notch cut out of it to help prevent wear on the playfield. It also looks like they removed some art around that area too. Very minor though. I can't find a comparison photo at the moment.
Quoted from DudeRegular:So you aren't going to update on the chance they may charge for online at some point (which they have not indicated they will)?
They will charge, it's only a matter of time and that time will come sooner if there isn't competition like scorbit. Mainly interested in if the scorbit experience is worth it on DP today or if I should wait.

Me too! Just placed my order at Pinball Life for a Hell House Cliffy, plastic protectors, felt leg pads and shooter lane guard. Now it's a race - will my parts order arrive before the game?
While I was on the Pinball Life site, I noticed that they carry the character figurines, but at $70 each, it doesn't seem like a great deal. There must be a better toy alternative.

Updating to the latest code doesn't require you to use Insider connected though... And Scorbit certainly already costs money right now in up front purchase and subscription. I am not knocking it. I think its a cool prodcut/platform. I simply don't understand your take on the situation. As far as what Scorbit does on Deadpool, I would assume is the same as most other spike games. It pulls the scores in to the platform and lets you use it how you wish.
Quoted from TopMoose:Question from a NIB Noob:
Will the new game come with the latest code pre-loaded or do I need to install it as part of the setup?
It will come with the latest code.

I printed mine as 4x6 glossy photos at my local photo processor which is a real cheap way to do this and then trimmed them up.

Yes. Chris from pinballplating.com has them available for exchange. He doesn't have it listed on his site, but always has a few ready to go.

The one from Pinball Life they made for it will!
I’ve used on several machines and just ordered one for my DP Pro I’m waiting on
Shaker Motor Kit (Rev C) For Stern SPIKE & SPIKE 2 System Games

I hope I make the cut for this run. I paid my invoice last week but still no shipping info. The waiting game sucks when you are this close.

Hey guys. How in the world do I disassemble the rear bumper with Wolverine on it? I’m trying to install these Ninja Star mods.
Thanks!

Those are Robs aka hooked on pinball.
What are you struggling with? I just installed the prem/LE set and it was just a case of cutting cable ties on wolverine figure and removing the screws from the pop.
What’s causing you an issue on the pro?

On the Pro, Wolverine is plastic and sits in a slot on the bumper cap. I’m not sure how to disassemble this whole thing.

Wolverine will go with the plastic in one piece.
Then im assuming the screw into that red post behind him holds wolverine to the plastic with a metal tab or something.

Not sure on that style, but the Stern version just goes over the original cap for that pop bumper.
Sorry - not the best pic - not at my machine, so zoomed in on pic I had available.

On closer look there may be a pop rivet holding wolverine to that metal tab under there. Might have to end up drilling that out and assuming you dint have a way to rivet it back. You might need to find a nut bolt at hardware store to put that back

I feel really silly right now. When I inspected this earlier it looked like Wolverine was mounted to another metal piece. You’re right. He came right out with the bumper cap.
He is riveted to the metal piece tho.
I installed my hookedonpinball pop bumper covers today on my premium. As well as new stern side armor.
The wolverive pop bumper was a pita and required some modding the hooked plastic. I drilled a hole in the plastic to allow me to put a second zip tie in there to hold his foot better.
But the biggest issue was the screws provided in the mod werent long enough for the wolverine cover. They need to be 5/8 and are 1/2. I ended up drilling out the metal of the ninja star to allow the head of the screw to recess in more and essentially make the screw long enough to grab in the pop bumper base.
Side armor looks fantastic and so glad i got it!

Same issue I had, I spoke with Rob (Hooked) seems we both ended up with the screws for the Pro set instead of the longer screws for the premium/le set, I managed to find some correct sized from my local hardware store although they are gold.

I think I might have the pro plastic too. At least that metal tab sticking up is how the pro plastic wolverine would hook on. I made it work but seems quality control for something so expensive could be better.
It was after 9pm when I was doing the install so stores would have been closing or closed. And I didn’t have any hardware laying around that would work. So I just modded it and made it work.
Plus side is my wolverine seems to be better located with his foot on the spinner frame. Before he was back a bit and floating his back foot in the air behind the spinner. And I was able to aim the spotlight on his back at the disco ball better….
So it worked out, But yeah for nearly 100 bucks I’d expect to get the right hardware…. I didn’t reach out to hooked, I bought these a couple month ago and should have checked stuff out then. My bad. So i just made due. In the end I’m ok with it they look so much better.
Very excited to join the club on this game, my pro should be shipping early next week. Picked up all my other mods already in anticipation of this run. Quick question for any other pro owners that have put the dazzler and wolverine figures from the premium into their games. Believe its just a couple of zip ties to get them in place right? Anyone who has done this, can you send some pics of how you have attached.
Also picked up a disco ball mod, saw some prior posts in that one of the recent code updates seem to have 'broken' this mod. But only saw a few posts and things seem silent on any further issues these days (maybe it's been fixed and working as intended again with further code). Would love to hear some thoughts here. Otherwise, art blades will be going in, shurikan bumper caps and will be powder coating the armour purple. Gonna be a looker when finished!

What has everyone set their flipper strength at? I found the default 255(?) a bit too strong so I dialed it back to 230.
Rob
I was super lucky this week to find a distro that had some in stock so I jumped on it for my first ever NIB should be here Tuesday and I have a Godzilla on order. When I started this hobby a few years ago I never thought I’d have a NIB now it looks like I’ll have 2 in hopefully a few months. It really is a sickness
Getting my Pro next week and thinking that this title needs an audio upgrade. Agreed? Pinwoofer while expensive, is easier for me to navigate and install. Anyone who did this chime in with comments. Speakerlight kit install at the same time makes sense as well? I’m not sure if going for the LE look or basic.
