If your desire is to add a multicolor led in sync with the Lil Deadpool light you'll have to purchase an identical LED board . Go to node board near left flipper. Buy a splitter for the molex connector circled in purple. Wire the new LED from this split. No need for diodes.

Thanks man. Was about to check the schematics in the Manual and 8 c14 its the right spot. Its a little far from the Katana but with cable ties it could be managed.
Now i had to check if i find a spliter for these molex conector.

I did similar on my AIQ Premium subway RGB lights... I added 3 more, essentially doubling the lighting. I just made jumpers and soldered direct to the other board in parallel. RGB boards/LEDs from Pinball Life.

If you do want to go the Molex route - there is usually another connector in line between the board and the playfield assembly. I've done that approach as well and made a Y splitter. Got the pins/sockets and connectors on Amazon.

I did not think there is a connector between this one. Can you send me some link where you ordered the Molex. I did not found a similar one.

The Molex Y adapter I made was for an inline connector...

Okey
I need a 8 pin something. I think I had to designe one myself and see if a can do a Y adapter.

So the first four are ready for the paint job. IMG_20210826_224738.jpgIMG_20210826_224738.jpg
should be able to ship them on Monday.
I played a bit with the filter. It's also possible to do a color mix.
IMG_20210827_170136.jpgIMG_20210827_170136.jpg
In the last picture you can see them befor and after painting. Was thinking about the possibility to do the rope part in diffrent color not only black. Someone want to see a specific color?IMG_20210826_223650_edit_32440098188278.jpgIMG_20210826_223650_edit_32440098188278.jpg

Sry for overspaming the thread this will be my last post about the handle!

#10408 2 years ago

Maybe its placebo, but I put on Titan low bounce flipper rings tonight and beat beat Mr Sinister on my first game. I think I will stick with these for a while .

So I'm going to assume the new December Premium builds will have the new QR reader and WIFI connection built in?

Sounds like a safe assumption based on what info has been released over the last day or so.

Got confirmation that im on list for dec run. Looking forward to it!

Sure hope so. Would hate to have to order the stuff afterwards.

Finally received my Deadpool LE yesterday. Distributor held on to it for me until new house was ready.

First, thank you everyone to pointing out the piece behind the little Deadpool that needed to washers. I got that fixed before I even put the balls in the game.

I was able to install all the cliffys too. Game is nice and protected.

All I have to say is…….HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! I think this is the most fun I’ve ever had playing pinball. Layout is unique and fun. Everything they threw into this game. Just OMG…I don’t know where to begin. Blown away is an understatement. The game had me cracking up.

Here’s a pic from my first game on it (I did update code too).

Is code complete or are we expecting any updates?

Yeah it is the best. It is my only new game but I played it at league and loved it. My wife really likes the 90s B/W and was not excited at all. Now she is obsessed with DP and thinks we should get another new game.

How do the low bounce Titans feel compared to broken in rubber? I have the normal Titan competition bands, and I want a rubber-like bounce, but these feel almost too bouncy and haven’t broken in after 600 games.

Less bouncy than standard titan for sure. not as grippy as a super band either. I put some on Metallica too and they felt good there.

I like the feel of Perfect Play flipper silicone rubbers from Pinball Life. Super Bands are a little "deader" feeling, but last a long time and can take abuse for situations like the upper left flipper on AIQ where the tip gets smacked quite a bit.

I also wipe down the flippers and other rubbers every week or two (I play a lot!) to keep them clean and repeatable performance.

Disagree. Even when im down to onenor two games, one is always our Maiden. Not going anywhere. Do agree that DP is another solid box of fun

I played IM at a vacation home for a month straight no other games and I couldn’t get enough. I think it’s hard enough to keep you coming back and never get bored. I’ve got a DP LE incoming and I know it’s awesome too. Can’t go wrong.

#10419 2 years ago
Quoted from Mr_Outlane:

Ya, that's what I said until I got one! The music grows on you and fits the game perfectly! I like this game as much as DP. Art and animations are killer as well.

I thought I would hate the music (not on any of my devices probably couldn’t have named a song), but it fits the theme perfectly and now I like them! It’s a top 5 game/theme for me all day long.

They still need to fix Lil Deadpool Frenzy Score not updating. Not a big deal, but should be done. Plus, they will probably update the code once the Insider Connected upgrade is pushed.

#10422 2 years ago

Just another pinball podcast interviewed George and Tanio. They mentioned a September update. Lilley this will be tied to the insider connected platform as well.

I sometimes wonder if Tanio asked not to be lead programmer on other machines. Thanks for the DP though.

I just installed a lighting kit in addition to brighter bulbs in the spotlights on top of each slingshot. It was my first time installing the $6 kit from Comet Pinball, and it was very easy. I am waiting on the illuminated drop target mod from Mezel, and can’t wait to see it all at once!

I find it's the part of the pf below near the flippers that's the darkest, i'd adjust the spots to below where they are now, or install the double sets (which i did).

I have an LE.

What do I need to do in order to get the Disco ball to spin?

Note: Just got the game 3 days ago, so I'm still learning the rules.

Left orbits. There's a countdown display in the upper left (I think) that will tell you how many you need to qualify/start a disco mode. LE and Premium - first Disco mode will be "Disco Loops", second will be "Disco Multiball." They'll alternate afterwards, taking more and more spins to start each time.

Oh. So my wife and I just watched the last episode of a little HBO documentary about a small town TV station in Pahrump, NV. It's called "Small Town News: KPVM Pahrump" not the greatest thing ever, but entertaining enough to watch if anyone's interested in short documentary shows.

Anyway - final episode includes some footage of them creating an ad for a local attorney. Can't find that exact clip online, but the commercial itself is on Youtube. Sitting next to my wife as she sat there confused - "Where the Hell have I heard that before?!?" was rather funny.

Mine came in the mail today... but with no installation instructions. A sticker on the packaging directed me to a dead link and the "install" button on the DEADPOOL ILLUMINATED DROP TARGETS page sent me to a URL that was an empty placeholder. Anybody know how to install this thing? (I sent a support request to MezelMods in the meantime.)

#1 Remove the old drop targets, 4 screws, 3 plugs .
#2 Remove single screw holding bulb to GI to the right of the drop targets. Unscrew bulb. Replace bulb with bulb splitter from kit. It looks like a bulb with wire poking out. You can now replace that socket and retaining screw. As shown.

Make sure your light bar mount looks like this one. You may have to switch light bar around so wires enter from the right. Mastic is peel and stick but is hard to remove cover, try using a razor blade and tweezers . Light bar will look as shown when mounted.

Remove stickers from old black drops, cut out, replace stickers on clear drops. Replace black drops with clear one's. I'd do this one at a time to make sure you get the springs, washers in the right place. You'll need needle nose pliers to remove the split ring locking things off.

Hook up all your wires, screw drop mechanism back in
The trickiest part is mounting the light bar. Just be sure, in the end, the drops are illuminated from the rear at a 45 degree angle. You don't want the bar to intrude into the wide oval drop target hole but be close to it.

#10440 2 years ago

Notice the cut out of the light bar to fit over the metal thingy. This is the only important one. Other cut outs are for LZ mount

Thank you, wtatumjr ! I'll post pics when I'm done!

p.s. I'm loving the resurgence in Deadpool mods! I've stuffed mine full of blades, hammocks, trucks, "dolls" (lol), gels, katana handles, CPU coolers -- it's just such a "more is more" game and adding to it seems to lend itself to the whacky theme. Love this game!

Tech question on DP Premium.

The loop on left side has a post with no rubber(Right next to "Eat Your Veggies").

Seems like I get tons of rejects out of that loop. Does it need a rubber?

Thanks!

I've also many, many times hit the BOOM button while playing on a different game that of course didn't have it!

#10450 2 years ago

Hello all, my premium arrives next week (can't wait!) and I've been scrolling through looking for anything I later might wish I did from new. Does anyone know of a new DP to-do list / guide or anything like that?

So far I've found there's often an issue with Katana ramp, it needs a washer or something I think, a Wolverine spinner problem with the ball guide behind it digging into the playfield and the left ramp has straight edges that sit on top of the playfield which can cause chipping.

I'm currently looking for fixes for those and if you have anything to add to my list for me to research that would be great, thank you.
