Quoted from fooflighter:Hey all, don't have a DP but was sent here by another poster.
Just experienced my GNR with and without the Pinwoofer GT with an External Klipsch 12" sub as well as the Cab sub upgrade and the Tweeter upgrade
Thought my experience would give you some insight.
NIGHT and DAY difference.
I thought I could get by with a tap off the cab to an external sub and call it a day. Nope. The tweeter upgrade and amp make the audio "Sparkle" is the best way I can describe it! All the while providing amazing bass, no hum, no rattle..just perfect blend. I'm hearing spatial orientation and callouts and sound effects that did not exist with the factory setup!
The ability to adjust the backbox volume and equalize things is HUGE.
A++++
Sorry this turned into a commercial but this is a must have mod IMHO where audio is important
Proper amplification makes a huge difference in any sort of sound system. It brings out the nuances in music that are not heard otherwise. Glad to hear that you are pleased with the kit…I guess it’s time to move pinwoofer up to the top of my most wanted mods list!

Awesome didn’t know this. Something about Deadpool and how simple it is makes it so good!

Make that after shooting the right orbit and get yourself 25M instead and the awesome Ninjapocalypse! I've made this twice in 8 months.

You hit the nail on the head MasterBlaster - happy to have made your list!

Sorry, this was the one that gives me half a chubby. Super secret skill shot.
My mate Zac is a specialist, he'll go for it every time.

What is the strategy? Seems like an incredibly tough thing to repeatedly attempt. After the right orbit does he live catch/trap and go for the SNIKT, or does he one time it?
I too have hit this twice in about 6 months and neither were planned tbh.

100% not planned, orbit shot was planned but I bricked the katana shot both times right back to my left flipper and lucked into a Snikt shot... was overjoyed both times

Hah, this sounds like exactly what I did too. Didn't care that it was a fluke, woo hoo!
Lately I have been experiencing a sticky flipper button. The actual button sticks, not that the flipper physically sticks up with the button out. What is the best fix for this? Some kind of lubricant? Disassemble it and look for something else?
Thanks!

Sometimes the plastic button burrs on the edges. You can take a small file to it, or rub it on the concrete a bit.
Delivery for my prem set for tomorrow. Or as I like to call it - that day where I pretended to work as much as normal and got even less done than you could ever imagine.

Could be finger gunk, candy/chip fingers, a plastic burr, etc. Remove, disassemble and analyze. At a minimum, rub it down with isopropyl alcohol before reassembling.
Quoted from Mattyk:Do you guys think there are more code updates to come?
Probably not, but there are still a few known "bugs" like the 'Lil Deadpool Frenzy high score doesn't work and the "Mechsuit Multiball Ready" announcement still gets cutoff by other callouts.
1.05 code is great though!
Quoted from Goyomex:My BM66 finally has a new friend - born just a few days ago. Good to finally be in the club! Now I've got 9,264 posts to read!

The code is terrific. I can’t think of anything I would change and didn’t realize the items you mentioned. I think this game is the total package. So many ways to play it. You can be satisfied with quick games focusing on ninja or disco multi balls, and you can go for the long haul and progress through the battles and modes. I never think it’s leaving

Man, what a great first day with my new DP! Added my shaker and mods I’ve collected the last few months. Something really satisfying about that first date
Always find I have these crazy good games without knowing ANYTHING about the game,or the shots. Hit 200M my third game - not sure if that’s respectable but it was exciting! Two DP noob questions:
What do you recommend for blades - mirror, black mirror or something printed?
Pins seems a bit dark on the upper playfield. Ive got Pinstadiums on my Wonka and love them - anyone else use Pinstadiums or something else for better illumination. ?
Thanks in advance for any guidance....
Wellp I left the pro club after two years and have now joined the premium club. Nice to see the redesigned the rail so the front doesn't touch, though I'm still going to put a washer under it. Now I just have to reinstall all my mods and powdercoated parts.
My serial number is literally one before yours @jaxpinball!

I have pinstadiums but also the comet spotlight/GI/troughlight kits.
If you put them on first you will probs find they light up the flipper area enough. I can see the rest of the playfield just fine with standard lighting, just the center that's like a gloomy room.

Some spotlights go a long way to brighten up the middle. I have a side by side in this post.

Once you get the Snikt shot dialed in you’ll be looking for 200M+ as your highscore for all the individual modes. The playfield multiplier really drives the scores in this game. My high is still only 1.8B I think after 8 months but people have posted scores north of 15B if memory recalls.

Any chance you could post a photo of the new rail design?
Well my membership became official yesterday. Having a lot of fun with the game so far, I stayed up way too late playing last night! Hoping to get some of the mods I got installed this weekend but we'll see if I have time. Gotta do washers under the guide, disco ball mod, titans, and pinwoofer. I still have to slide it into the lineup too, I just had to get a few games in after getting it set up

The front has a notch in it to keep it from rubbing.

Joined the Pro club from the March 2021 run! Unfortunate that the new rail design didn't make it into that run, and I didn't quite do my homework on the washer fix until after the fact.
Luckily, Cliffys are on the way! Love the machine.. awesome game all around.
IMG_0947 (resized).jpgJust put in the order for my first pinball machine - a NIB Deadpool Pro.
Feels good man!!!
Player One here in Toronto is saying delivery in July / August so maybe they've got some of the March production run coming to their warehouse, or know something about another run. I'm hoping they're not just throwing darts at a calendar.
If anyone has tips about extra stuff I should order that would be cool. Replacement washers seem popular for some reason? And what's a Cliffy?

Wow that's a bummer, sorry to see that. My pro had really bad chipping from the rail, once I had the cliffy on I completely forgot about it until I sold it.

Thanks! Interesting that Stern redesigned the guide, but didn't spend a few cents on a washer. At least they made progress

Oddly some people have had washers from the factory. My assumption is that they'd have a difficult time getting every person on their assembly line to remember to add a washer under this specific rail so redesigning the rail eliminates any errors.

Oh man. It happened that fast? Crap. I'm so glad I did the washer mod on this thing. Sorry. Could be worse. :/
Beatnik-Filmstar dangit! Where is the "LIKE!" button?
I just ordered mine last Friday, and already I'm going bananas waiting for it. I was told my Pro would be leaving the factory around September- I have no idea if it would be later or earlier.. Oh well. I've been dumping money into the one on location near me- but it gets so much play it's getting a little tired. The Snikt! target leans over and blocks a right-flipper shot to the center spinner, and the L'il Deadpool is all rebuilt to look like a clown, no more bobble. Oh well, at least it's there!
Hope all the new owners enjoy the heck out of their games. I just hooked up a sub to mine for the first time with the pinnovator board. Cranked up the sound a bit and really dig it. Combined with a shaker is pretty great.
Quoted from Beatnik-Filmstar:Sometimes you slip $20 to a bouncer to get into a club.
Today I slipped $20 to a burly 20-something year old delivery driver instead. Curb side? Nahhh. Bring that thing in here please.

Damn...I had to bribe my delivery guy $50 just to push my pin up the driveway into the garage. Then another $50 to a handyman to get it into the basement.
Rookie mistake I guess.
By the way, the left ramp can dig into the playfield as well. Not that noticeable but it will make a line. Im trying a nylon washer to prevent further damage.

It was kinda spur of the moment, since I had a friend on the way over to help me, but what the Hell. Young kid with way better hand truck and younger back vs. two middle aged guys? Easy choice. Realized later that I probably would have tipped him out of habit anyway, so what the Hell.
A little tinkering later....

And since that window makes me more paranoid than a first time parent AND I'm supposed to be working today....
It's actual current condition.

I am joining the club Monday! Got a few goodies on the way and got in line for some awesome cliffys. Still trying to figure out if mirror blades or side art is the way to go.
Quoted from punkin:Gotta be cheaper to put a blind on the window than buy covers for all your machines?
Window has a blind, but I work from home and having the living room be dark all the time won't fly too well with the wife.
Other two machines are old wedgeheads and I'm not 1% as concerned with fade on them. A cover for the DP in the meantime until we have a house with a proper dark basement or game room is an easy enough fix.

Im in a similar boat... We have a bunch of windows/ sliders in our basement and they all have electric roller shades... but who wants to leave the shades drawn all the time. So have been thinking about getting a cover like that for my end machine. Mind if i ask how you like it and where you bought it?

It's the pinskin one they sell on Marcos. Literally just opened it and put it on today, so not much to review.
Of course they're out right now.
https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/77-PC-ES
But quality seems decent enough. Nice heavyish weight to the fabric. Little disc magnets that hold things in place. It's two parts - the base and the head. The bottom part is open in the back. The head piece covers all four sides. There's a strip of velcro along the front bottom of the head cover that will attach it to the base.
Top of my head concern - it's probably not going to be quick and easy to get it on/off since I have my machines in a row, but oh well. Stop gap like I said.
Edit - 4/22 build date. Has the notch cut out of the rail as well, though I'm 99% surely going to raise the rail regardless and install my cliffys.
