Same boat as you, but at least the code will be more advanced by the time we get ours

I'd be more inclined to agree of it was a Gotg or BM66 code scenario..

Owners, do your node boards have capacitor kits on them?

Also, LE owners does the shaker board have the kit?

Can someone post pictures of these areas on their bottom side of their playfield?

Thought I would post a few pics and video of my deadpool topper. . It is a one-of-a-kind topper. I won’t be making multiples of the topper for obvious licensing reasons.

.
The topper features multi levels with an inside/rear illumination, cut and illuminated bullet holes and strobing front lights. The inside illumination really allows the title to “pop” without washing out any of the artwork. I posted two videos. One with the strobing front illumination and one without. I really enjoyed creating this topper

I want to help you. I do, but I was busy working and playing it.

Game is so damn fun. Love every shot. For some reason Gomez orbits are more fun to me than other orbits. I had fun pummeling Sabretooth, who is easily defeated by orbits.

Oops! Sorry Doug.
Any chance I could get the Lil Deadpool insert instead of the one listed on your site?

Yeah. Though it would have been better to e-mail and ask...I'm surprised I saw it here. I have one set in stock so I'll swap them in and refund the difference to your PayPal.

Tech question.

Fired up my machine- went into diagnostic mode to check switches, lights and coils, etc.

All is good- EXCEPT:

When checking coils - I could not get coil 13 (up/down ramp hold) to make any noise.

Can someone else check this on their machine? Thanks!!!!!!!
(FYI I have an LE - not sure what this coil goes to)

Going back to speaker lights for a minute. I'm looking for a red speaker light without the bells and whistles (no remote or dimming), just a red light. I used to buy mine from Pinball Bulbs and was very happy with them. However it doesn't appear their style has changed since the new Stern's came out. Anymore suggestions or does anyone know if the Pinball Bulbs work well in the new Stern's?

Hi foxtj24!

I would do a copy for you if you like this result. No problem!

This is not a normal printing, ok! It is a printing over chrome vinyl with an extra protective "gloss" lamination. It is not a normal paper. All whites are really mirror, not white colour.

If you want, wait to next week because I will order to print my "Free Play" card, it is a superior card, I think!

Here is my "Free Play" card:

If you would like, I can send you a SPIKE 2 Speaker Light Kit set on red and not include the remote. It isn't as if you have to change the color to red each time you turn the game on. Set it and forget it. It will be on red every time the game is turned on.

As for Pinball Bulbs, I don't think their 3D printed frames will work well for a "fully lit grill" style SPIKE 2 speaker light solution. So it won't be as easy for them to copy them as my original Speaker Light Kits were. As it is, it appears that they are still using their same small rectangle 3D printed frames for their speaker lights (in SPIKE 2 games).

There is also Yelobirds Speaker Illumination Kit for Deadpool. It's always red and no remote (but it does have adjustable brightness) so it might be what you are looking for.

Hi Zukram or Cjmjmm,

Can you check this in diagnostic mode under Coils:

Coil 13 (up/down ramp hold) - when you activate it - does it make any noise and do anything- like the rest of the coils?

Thanks

To all the LE owners...now that you have one...would you do it again? Thinking of pulling the trigger on one without playing it.

Absolutely do it again, I really struggled on doing the Premium vs LE and while the price difference is significant I couldn't be happier with the choice. The HD glass, shaker, art blades, speaker lights are nice but I have to say - the cabinet art, power coat armor and playfield make for a beautiful pin - it's a looker and I am really enjoying playing it. Will only get better as code evolves in my humble opinion..

Tried it just now. No noise, or any movement that I could detect...

#527 5 years ago

Played a pro for the first time today. Been thinking about grabbing one to pimp out. Was focusing on Katana shot since that seems to be the complaint on shots and it was smooth on the machine I played. No problems repeating the shot. Not easy but not bad at all. Really like the art and look of the game. Thinking I’m going to grab one and see what I can do with the overall package.

I try to be very objective in everything. While the LE is downright STUNNING in person, it really probably isn’t worth the extra coin. I think this title falls into the Pro-is-the-way-to-go category. Esp a Pro w a cpl mods.

That said if you’re not super sensitive to the cash, then absolutely definitely get the LE, it’s a freaking spectacle.

Yes. There is something about this game that draws me in. Once the code is farther it will rise up the ranks. LE looks amazing. Wierd thing is I’m having more fun with it than my IMDNLE right now. Probably just cause it’s new.

Anyone notice a near constant hum/noise coming from the speakers on their machine, almost sounds like the fan blowing on the power supply (just not as loud), but the sound is definitely coming from the speakers.. Wondering if there is even anything that can be done here other than call Stern..
