Are you tired of playing your DPLE? If so, it may be time to move on. Every game gets tiresome if you play it day in, day out. Just ask yourself, “How would I feel if I got up tomorrow and it wasn’t there?” If you are truly done, go for something new. AFM may be just the thing you want. It’s an awesome game. For me, I feel it’s a bit repetitive. Not sure how big your collection is, but if it’s a one pin collection or a small collection you might want to consider Stranger Things. It is also a Brian Eddy game with a similar layout as AFM but it is deeper and may have a bit more staying power. If you have the opportunity, take a ride to a pinball distributor and play a bunch of games and see if anything really excites you. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Big difference in rulesets... Rule the Universe is not hard but then again not easy, DP Brings more to the party. If you swap DPLE for AFMrLE, be ready to swap AFMrLE for something else sooner than you waited to swap the DPLE. I like a good game of AFM, but for a challenge, only RTU holds up as a good challenge, otherwise only High Score or Martian Champion or combo champion are the benchmarks to beat, and in a huo environment with a limited number of machines, AFM tends to have walking shoes. In a larger collection, the kitschiness of the callouts tends to be a fav of non-pinheads, so has some staying power, but most really good players can blast a 5 billion score minimum without really trying, so you may tire of it quickly.

AFM has very little longevity. Simple rules, limited paths to attack game, repetitive music and call outs (although great call outs). I love AFM btw but it lasted 3 months.

Yep. It's a classic, and I was always happy to spend time on it when I'd see it on location, but it burnt out of my home collection quickly back when it was much smaller.

Man, I can't get enough of afm. The simplicity is part of what I love.

Same here. I've had mine since they came out (2017?) and its still fun everytime I play it. I still haven't "ruled the universe", though I've come close a couple of times. Not every game in your collection needs to have 30 pages of rules to be fun. Its just a fantastic game.

I miss it. You have 6 games and at the time I only had one other game. That probably makes a big difference.

I really prefer AFM LE super fun. I’m not any pinball hero so it’s a good challenge for me. It’s one pin I’ll never sell.

Deadpool hands down one my favorite games that I still play consistently, I’ve had AFM for less than 6 months and maybe put 200 plays on it, that’s why it’s on the chopping block.

Edit: reading more, looks like they're plastic. In either case - I believe your DP should have come with something between the legs and cab.

I am assuming the missing cabinet protectors were just a mistake at the factory on that particular cabinet... but can anyone else confirm if they are intentionally not included on new builds? It wouldn't make sense for Stern to omit them as this was a lesson learned long ago, like on Transformers. I am in on the next run of Deadpool Pro and there is no way I am installing the legs without them...

Weird, and good luck with the heat gun. Were the decals cut around where the stand off should have been?

Same boat, basically. Waiting on a DP prem and was under the impression that they came standard and have for years. Would be an annoying delay to have to order a set if it arrives bare.
