So much has changed since the problems with TBL that I could not contain my curiosity over what everyone is now doing with Hobbit. Some jumped in, some prepays jumped out. I jumped out. So how does the overall picture look for orders still in, or those who bailed for various reasons? I believe tomorrow is the deadline to get refunds or lock in before future price increases.
Why did I bail? Because for some reason the game just did not appeal to me. It looks attractive, but certainly is not as beautiful as WOZ. I'm not happy over the price increases either, and still am unsure as to what lights are/are not color changing. We have not had much description of these replaceable art work panels either. Are they velcroed on or what?
Regardless, I'm just plain not happy about the recent price increases from both main manfacturers. For the money involved I just see nothing there that is worth giving up any of my current games for. Its a nice break to be sitting comfortably on my collection for a change instead of waiting on the edge of your seat for new info on the "next greatest game" (which in my humble opinion is just not out there yet).
How are the rest of the pinsiders feeling right about now?
