Today is the 8th anniversary of creating the Dead Flip Twitch channel.
In 2014, I was just entering the mix of working on Pinball related content. Did some animations of Magic Girl, created JJP’s menu system they still use today, and all this happened just as I got INTO pinball.
Dead Flip started as a name we chose for our group in the newly minted Chicago Pinball League. (We went undefeated that year if I remember correctly)
The crazy idea of streaming pinball took over VERY quickly, and within a few years, became my full-time gig.
All of the amazing events and experiences we have had on this journey all boils down to one thing. You.
Without all the amazing support of the folks that tune in each day, this would have all been a passing dream, a small thing I did on the side.
Now I’m making the very machines I fought so hard to find and stream each night.
Thank you all for all the support, love, and camaraderie for the past 8 years.
I’m working to find a better balance between work and streaming, and we’ll get there, and I know you’ll be there waiting to shoot the sh*t when I hit “Go Live”.

Thought i'd slap this pic from Dutch Pinball Open from what i believe was 2016 here as well. Danger through the years. This november will be the 30th DPO. No Jack Danger this time. But looking forward to hanging with a certain JJP designer who got my GnR signed by his co Designer. Keep being you Jack and all will be fine.

I picked up this Pinball Journal a year ago on Amazon. I get a kick out of how well matched the Designer's Notebook is; perhaps the same supplier? The small book is a bit pricey, but OK to work with. I sometimes wish for a phone app.
When looking for another Journal this evening, I find that Amazon supplier has a slew of different sayings available. Whoooa boooy, humorous and maybe even a little risky. Wow! I wonder if their Australian. The 'Pinball' variant is on sale today. Take it easy.

I'm just swamped with work today, and all I want to do is play hooky and be part of the new game buzz, it's always fun when people are hype. And I haven't even had time to look at the main thread, but they have got to be fucking hype, because this game looks amazing.
Jack you killed it, so impressed and proud of you. Seriously, this looks incredible and thoughtful and fresh and just all around fun.
Can't wait to get a chance to flip it!

Game looks great! Inlane targets, save post, kicker target... So much fun stuff in there that you've noodled about on stream and here they are in the game!!!! Most important, it'll be a ton of fun to play! Congratulations!!!!
