SO it appears I have very old code on my game. Is it as straight forward as the manual makes it seem or do I need anything special?
Quoted from rooftop:hey potc fans need some help went to update my game as i have done to many games many times, at the end of the update the game tells me to reboot, then it gets suck in reboot mode, and if i shut the game down it, won't even go into attrack mode and the screen is blank any thoughts?
Did you figure this out?
Quoted from TopMoose:Here's me playing POTC:

This just had me literally laugh out loud
Quoted from OzarkKing:Living on a Lake we already consider ourselves pirates but the other day had some friends down and one mentioned her aunt/uncle had a 'commercial' pinball machine. Older couple who got it for free from a widow, price was firm at $1000. When I picked it up I asked if they had keys, "nope" (and their high score was 18 mil). Drilled out the lock when I got home and opened it up to find paperwork showing original purchase in 2006. Home use, low plays. I added a few led flashers, a neon skull topper and put an actual 1881 gold coin on the chest.
Living at Lake Ozark there are some serious tables on location (prior to picking up Pirates we would boat a couple nights a week to go play Cirqus Voltaire at a restaurant across the way...the arcade here has AC/DC, LOTR, STTNG and JD in a row). Pirates seems universally loved by all who play it and our neighborhood has some great competition (present Grand Champion is 288 mil but nobody to Four Winds yet).
The other day work found me in Kansas City and I stopped to play MMR, TWD and Kiss and am happy at the enjoyment level of PotC relative to those newer machines. Looking around online, this machine seems underrated (although the price points reflect its value). While I typically keep the nearby sliding door shade pulled shut to reduce cabinet fade, on some busy boating Saturdays I open it up and play with boats going by in the background. Pic taken when it arrived, cleaned up and burnt lights replaced since.
Love the classy look of the machine and it will anchor this ship for awhile.arrrr.jpeg
thats not a deal. thats a steal.... argggg
