ok, just for clarification, when you shoot at the ship the first few times, is little rubber bumper supposed to stay up until you hit a flipper? mine does it on first ship only. some do and some of them ive played don't.
anybody else have problems with ball going up monkey ramp? ive adjusted and adjusted, do they still make this scoop?
Quoted from beelzeboob:So I finally get to battle Davy Jones and...
...my auto fire stops working. *sigh*
Don't know what that's about...if anyone has any ideas, clue me in.
lift up playfield, little blue plastic piece prob broken on plunger and coil
Quoted from viper001:Ok, so with this newfound understanding of how this thing works I was able to manually free up the ship (I *think* it was stuck because the sails were still up), and by then plugging all the connectors back in and using the test menu I can now get the ship to sink all the way into the playfield. Which means I can remove the whole thing if needed. Before I do that (and lose the ability to run the motor and such) I'm still trying to determine what is still binding. It seems to go down smoothly, and it even folds the sails up by itself like it is supposed to. But now when the ship comes back up the back of the ship pops up and the sails pop back up but it doesn't want to finish it's slide over to the left.
Probably nobody can offer a suggestion on this without seeing it, but I figured I would post before I pull the thing out tonight to get some ideas on what to look for. My guesses are either the slide mech is fouled in some way, this part called the clutch is messed up, or the gearbox has some stripped gears (which will suck to the tune of $200, but at least they are still available). Any guesses? And what can I check once I have the thing out without the power?
Thanks for all the help up until now btw!</blockquhad to replace the little white slide on mine. it gets grooves in it over time wouldn't go up and down all the way. id replace it while it was apart anyway.
Quoted from jbug:My wife and I were at Disney in Florida. The gift shop at the ride, Pirates of the Caribbean has some good stuff there. I picked up a couple of things like the metal piece that you can put your name on one side and has a picture on the other as well as some items I put on a key chain. The jewels that come in the draw string bag turned out to be too big. I had planned on putting them around the chest. I will hunt down some smaller pieces.
good way to scratch the hell out of your door.
Quoted from potc1334:Here is a better link for viewing a video of the mods to my machine. I really like the firing cannons by the flippers (hard to see in the video) which are controlled by pressing the flipper buttons and the cannons firing on the ship.
