Thanks, I like it too. I can't take credit; a previous owner had already done the powder coating when I bought the game.
Hey all. I have found that my flipper
Coils are different numbers. I also am not sure if one has a diode because it is not marked”ND”. So here is what is installed in the game.
One is 090-5032 solid state
One is 090-5030 ND also a solid state.
So should I Presume that the 090-5032 is a diode?
I purchased these to replace when needed.
Any advice would be appreciated.

According to the manual. The coils should be 090-5030-00 ND ( no diode, it is located on the board so you don't have to worry about mixing up wires to the coil )

I got my Tilt Topper - yes it took a long time but worth the wait the quality is unbelievable and it looks great.
Anyone interested in my old one - maybe $80-90 shipped in the USA. The shipping is going to be $20-40 I am sure… just guessing on a fair price.
It’s a nice stainless steel mod with lights etc. I can create a Pinside ad with more pics but I thought I could start here and if someone wants it before I place the ad I can send more pics.

The old one - had been sold - thanks for the interest
Anyone have interest in a Pin2DMD - I have an extra. I was going to install it in a DE Star Wars but I bought a machine with a color already installed and now I have a spare (and have sold Star Wars already). So it’s brand new…never used.
I may do a Pinside ad just thought I would start here and you can get a Xmas present for yourself.
I currently have a Pin2DMD installed in my Pirates (and LW3) and I can tell you the colorization for Pirates is one of the best colorizations for Pin2DMD. I don’t think you sacrifice anything on this game. Not all colorizations are great and equal to ColorDMD but this one is, they are getting better but this is trouble free and looks good.
It is activated but I cannot sell you the colorization you have to get that on your own and it’s easy to get (I think I paid $25 for it).
Below are pictures of the kit and a sample of what Pin2DMD looks like on my machine.
I can ship USA for $270…
I will probably regret selling this if I pick up some other game but I thought it will sit otherwise for a while …

Can anyone link me to the required coil sleeves on marco?
From what I can tell.....
11 x 1 3/4in
2 x 2 inch?
Not counting flipper coils as they are coming as part of a rebuild kit
I'm in aus so the imperial system is something I'm not strong on
Plus I can't find the part numbers in the manual
Cheers

Awesome, thanks.....have ordered the brackets from marco.....it's getting a new plastic kit also
Can you tell me if the brackets are rivetted to the plastic, or is it screw and bolt?, the manual doesn't say
Cheers
No idea what size rivets I'd need
Quoted from jamex:Hello everyone
still no news if someone managed to make a copy of the Ship?
Hello! I heard it's on the to-do list for Back Alley Creations, but not sure about timing.

Hi,
Many thanks, the important thing is that someone is planning to make a new ship, thanks
Have a new translite to replace my faded one....
First time replcing one of these....the original translight seems to sit really well against the glass....looks like it's glued on
Any tips or tricks to get a really nice flat and smooth fit?
Cheers

The old translite is held on with double sided tape. You should be able to carefully pull the plastic tabs off. Use a razor blade if your having difficulty. Clean the glass real nice. Then lay your new translite down. Add a few strips of thin double sided tape to each side. Put the plastic tabs back on and make sure they are all the way seated.
Joined the club yesterday. Wife and I are excited to discover this game.
It’s only for a few months until my next games arrive. (CCr and P3)
Rest of the lineup is on the opposing wall lol.

They look like real factory casts, and NOT just mounted with foam double-sided sticky tape! Nice job!!!

I've done a bunch of mods to my machine like many others here have. I've posted a bunch of pics for you. My favorite mod is the leds in the ship cannons. (I also painted the cannons black). Others are:
LED's throughout
ColorDMD
Barrel spotlight covers
Speaker panel plastic
Cannon over shooter lane
Color changing flipper buttons (red and yellow)
Lockdown bar coins
Coin shooter rod
Tournament button relocation kit
Pinnovators headphone/cabinet volume kit
External subwoofer
Speaker lights and skull/crossbone inserts
Plank for "Walk the Plank"
Treasure chest
Rum barrels in sand
Jack Sparrow figure
Flipper bat covers (gold coins)
LED lighting strip in apron ball trough
Mirror side blades
Tilt topper LED topper
"Pirates Ye Be Warned" sign
"Dead Men Tell No Tales" sign
Airball preventer in front of ship
I may have missed something but that is pretty much everything I have.

Another question
The spinner on my machine makes a scraping sort of noise when it is spinning..... I've always thought it was part of its design.....but I'm second guessing now
Should it be making a metal on metal scraping noise as it spins?
Anyone got an airball deflector they would be willing to part with?
I'd really like to not have the sneezeguard and the fella who makes these can't find them at present....
Any luck?

I heard people mention that you really didn’t need either one of them. If I couldn’t find an airball deflector, I’d remove the sneeze guard anyway. My 2-cents
