I have an AFM where a lot of solenoids died simultaneously: flip and hold on both flippers, as well as right gate, left gate, diverter power and diverter hold. There is 50V at the solenoids, but they don't engage in play nor in solenoid test. All switches are fine.

This kind of problem is new to me, and I'm a bit stumped. From reading the WPC-95 power driver board schematics they share J120/J119, and I wonder if the most likely cause is a dead 74LS374 at U8. Does that make sense, or is there anything else it could be? Ground return break somewhere, perhaps? Any tips on what/how I can test further before I go and order a 74LS374?

Try first to re-seat the small ribbon cable between CPU- and Powerdriverboard.
Signal to enable U8 could be missing at J102-32

Great input, I'll check that. Thanks

Reseating the cable didn't help. It turns out that the ASIC socket on the CPU-board has connectivity issues. I simply pressed my thumb on the ASIC chip on the CPU-board, and the enable line for U8 was ok again.
