I just purchased a nice DE Royal Rumble and had it shipped to me and it has the following problem. When I turn on the machine - it will start to boot up on the display (looks good) and at some point the display will go blank. The sound is still good and the game still plays without any display. When I turn off and on again - the same result most times but usually at a different part of the boot up it will go blank. Once in a while it will stay on and I can play the game and it plays perfect. I reseated all the connectors when I got the machine but it still has the problem. I also tried to purchased the ribbon cables for it (from PB Resourse - they tried to get them from Stern) but could not get them. The machine and boards in it are very clean and the previous owner states that he never had this problem. Any ideas or suggestions what to do next.
