Hey Guys,
Just picked up a DE Star Wars today and after a few plays, the ball won't launch anymore. I still am able to fire the skill shot, but the ball just sits in the shooter lane. The other issues are the Force hole and Sarlacc Pit. When the balls go in there, they register, but do not eject out. I have to take a magnet to pull them out.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Go into switch test, see if switches work in these places.

If not look for broken wires, needing adjusting type stuff.

Hey Lloyd,
Switches work just fine...everything worked fine and then poof! The ball launch stop ejecting, sarannic hole stopped ejecting, and force hole stopped ejecting. They all register points, and keep registering points, when the balls in it but it won't kick the ball back on the play field.

Coil test - do they work there ?

If not start pulling and checking fuses with a meter.

If you don't know, check them all. I don't have the game or manual.

Grab a manual here if you need one - http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl

It looks like the F4 fuse is an 8a and the one in there is a 4a. I am trying to verify if F4 is for some coils before I head out tomorrow to buy some 8a slow blows

#9 10 years ago

It's gotta be it. I pulled the fuse out completely, played the game, and the same issues remain. I will head to radio shack tomorrow and get some and report back.

Yep. Get the correct fuse. Especially if it is supposed to be 8A and it had a 4A fuse in there instead.

#11 10 years ago

Swapped in an 8amp and still no luck. All the other fuses are good to go. Any thoughts?

Fuse blow again ? Lost power ? Broken wire from coil to coil to coil to board ?

LTG : )

#13 10 years ago

Hey Lloyd, fuses are good and no loss of power. Just no coils. I will check the wires on all three problem areas when I get home.

No broken wires from coil to coil or coil to board. Just to be ure I re flowed solder to any wires that looked suspicious. I am totally stumped

I stand corrected. There was a broken yellow wire by R2D2. I reflowed the solder on the coil and awesomeness. Everything is good to go!
