I made yet another newbie plunge and purchased an AnyPin NVRAM 6116/6264 chip last month and have a couple quick questions before I destroy my pinball machine trying to put it in...
Which chip on the board gets swapped out? The one below the ROM Chip with the yellow sticker? Is any soldering needed? If it IS that one, I see it's labeled 6264, but assuming may get me into trouble.
Should I use the "extension" pins that come with it? I would think those would make it easier to plug in.
What's the easiest way to extract the existing chip without messing up the board?
