My de-soldering station is over 5 years old. It’s no longer made. This is their replacement:

    https://www.circuitspecialists.com/Compact_Desoldering_System.html

The ad shows 24 inches of mercury vacuum. I tested mine and I get 7.8 inches of mercury at the unit – that does not include the gun and hose. It still works but don’t seem to remove all the solder. Has anyone tested their de-soldering gun? What kind of pressure are you getting?

And PLEASE don’t tell me about Hakko. I don’t want to start another discussion about how good they are.

    Thanks

Mine works but I think it should work better. I was just curious as what kind of pressure others were getting.

    Thanks
